  1. I'm with you 100%! Well stated!
  2. I can't find a job that fits my needs. My wife doesn't drive and our health Ins. is thru her employer so I have to be flexible enough to get her to and from her job. A couple of PT jobs would work but I haven't found those that would let me work around my drive times either. I'm very quickly running out of $$$. Between $$$ problems here and also taking care of my parents who are aging not so gracefully, I am about at the end of my rope.
  3. Glad to know that you are still around and if there is anything that I can do please let me know. You've got my email and cell.
  4. TN senator tries again at guns-in-bars bill Plan is clearer than overturned law, he says TN senator tries again at guns-in-bars bill | tennessean.com | The Tennessean This is what I was hoping for. I don't think it would fly for them to try to pass a law that would not allow owners to ban guns.
  5. He hit 1400 posts back on 8/25 and hasn't even signed on since then. Is he still a Farmers agent in Smyrna?
  6. Welcome from S. Nashville Glad to have you.
  7. Yes Very well written but sadly, still probably ignored.
  8. I'd like to see someone put 122,006 rds thru it and I would hate to be the one who loaded 20,335 mags. Real? I doubt it!
  9. Or Fire ants!
  10. Hey Big Mike! Glad to have you join up! Welcome to TGO!
  11. Welcome to TGO MSHammer! I think you will see a lot of interesting things here!
  12. Second Amendment March to remain on April 19, 2010 A short while ago we learned that the TEA Party Patriots would be holding a march in Washington DC on April 15th, 2010, 4 days before our own event. Concerned that this would affect the attendance at our own march, the Board of Directors spent a week gathering information. We were concerned that people would not be able to make two trips to DC because of time and money constraints. However, we discovered that the TEA party will not be one HUGE event to be held in Washington DC, but rather would be held in hundreds of cities all across the country. That means that many, many people will likely spend April 15th in their home town TEA party and hence would still be able to attend the April 19th Second Amendment March. Other deciding factors were: * Many people had already made plans for April 19th by asking time off work and making travel arrangements. * It became apparent that we would not be able to work out all the logistical headaches involved with changing the date. * Some of our speakers would not be able to accommodate the change. * Some of the State Capitol Rallies had already chosen their dates and changing the date of the DC rally would have complicated their efforts. * Concerns over the lack of availability of lodging if both events were held simultaneously. Many of you sent us personal emails voicing a variety of opinions and I want to assure you that we appreciate all your input. So now, let us look to the future and the task at hand. We have a lot of money to raise and a lot of work to do if we are to make the Second Amendment March a huge success! Thanks again, and I'll see you in DC on April 19th, 2010! All the best! Skip Coryell Founder, Second Amendment March

  14. Heck, when has he done what his constituents have wanted?
  15. And that was my point about Gerhart being on a lesser team. I have never liked the idea of the Heisman. This is a team sport and to try to pick the best player isn't fair. Sure those guys on the line in front of Ingram can brag for the rest of their lives that they blocked for a Heisman winner but no one will remember them as guys who made it happen for Ingram. And it's the same for every position on the field. It always takes the other 10 guys. No one guy is capable of doing it themselves. I don't have a problem with the awards for the best player at a certain position but the best overall player is really hard get right. I don't dislike Ingram. He seems like a good guy and he did have a great year and helped get AL into the Championship game. I just don't like the award PERIOD!
  16. OH LORD, Please let me get one of those letters signed by Jim Cooper!!!
  17. Gerhart should have won it. He rushed for nearly 200 yards more and 11 more TD's on a lesser team.
  18. He's not on the fence. His vote is for sale to the highest bidder. It is way past time for him to go.
  19. Thanks! It is time that we get busy with this.
  20. Silence! It's nice at times.
  21. I did a google search and this is nearly 10 years old. It apparently didn't catch on. Vermont's Right Not to Bear Arms | The American Prospect There are a bunch of hits because someone has brought it up and there are many forums wasting their time on old news.
  22. Glad to have you here on TGO! Welcome!
