I am in Cooper's district and will do all that I can to defeat him. He is a 1st Class POS!!! He and Cohen are the only 2 Reps. from TN to vote for the bill and I believe that was the Dems plan because they felt that those two were probably the 2 strongest members and felt their re-elections were in the bag. I certainly hope that they are as right about these two getting re-elected as the Dems were sure that they would win the election in Massatwosh*ts! We know how that worked out for them.

I'm with you on the cry babies complaining about the score. Do something about it, like maybe actually playing some D and stop them. Otherwise don't complain. It would really pizz them off if the Vikes had started kneeling on every play about 5 or 6 minutes from the end. There is no way to see that repeat in the Super Bowl. They are both AFC teams now. The repeat is happening in the AFC Championship game this weekend at Indy.

The old man made the 'boys look like rookies today. Vikings and Saints should be interesting next weekend. I think the Chargers will win next which means that the Jets have a great chance!!! I'm hoping for a Colts-Saints Superbowl with the Colts winning it again.

I went about 2:45 and expected the crowd to be thin by that time but it was packed. A friend that was working the tables for one of the vendors said that it was really crowded earlier. Glad I didn't go then. Parking was a bit of a problem but finally got a spot close to the entrance. I wasn't very impressed with the building, lower ceilings than the Smyrna location and much darker. I went out of curiosity about the new location and was not really looking for anything. I would not drive 100 miles one way to see it but I was only about 25 miles. If you are as far as 50-75 miles away I believe that you would think it to be worth the effort.

All mentioned are good but let me add Mel Gibson to the list. Edge of Darkness is the new one and it looks like it will be good. Lethal Weapon series, Payback, Ransom and many more. Even if this hire does turn out to be a great one,and I really hope it is, I don't think there is anything that will make Hamilton appear to be a genius. It will just mean that he got lucky.

I've been out of the loop since before noon and just learned of the hire. Had 100+ posts to read to catch up. I was never excited about the LK hire. Saw no reason that his resume should get him this job. The only plus I saw was his dad. There was not the big search then that we have seen this week. Hamilton made a huge mistake that took 14 months to manifest. When that hire was made my thought process was that he was now the head football coach of my Tennessee Volunteers. There was nothing that I could do but support him because he was now the coach of the team that I love. The problem was that it never seemed right. I am very pleased that he is outta here and I am looking forward to watching the USC program go down in flames and I think that it's only a matter of time. I am also looking forward to seeing the events that have been mentioned in this thread come to light and watch Kiffin squirm. Now we have Derek Dooley. I don't know much about him. I didn't see the PC but based on what you guys have said it sounds like he was impressive. We'll see if this was a good hire but it may take 2 to 4 years to know for sure. I hope that he will be the last coach the we hire for the next 20 years. We TN fans always have high expectations for our Vols. In my mind we should always be a top 10 team and always mentioned as a legitimate contender for the championship. PERIOD. Is Dooley the right choice? I certainly hope so. Time will tell. I am very disappointed that there were so many that turned down offers from UT. I think that Hamilton should go. I believe that he was the reason that many had no desire to come to TN and be under such an idiot. GO BIG ORANGE!!!
