Google maps says the fastest route is 190 miles and 3 hrs 5 mins. That takes you up into KY on I-24 and then back down thru Mayfield and Fulton. I went to Union City a few months ago by that route and then came home down Hwy 22 to I-40. That route shows it to be 178 miles and 3 hrs 28 mins. Both legs seems very long!

I was looking for one about a year and a half ago. I liked the look of them but before getting one I wanted to hold it in my hand. Same thing back then, no one around Nashville had one, even used. I spoke with Dennis at G&L and he told me why he doesn't carry them. Call him. I emailed the company and they put me in touch with their area distributor. When I called them they did a search for the closest retail gun store that had recently ordered one and it was somewhere in Arkansas. No thanks. I gave up. I finally did run across a used one at a gun show. I picked it up and immediately hated it. I just didn't like the feel of it in my hand at all. I'm not saying that it's a bad gun. I have read posts by people that have or had them and loved them. If you ever find one you may feel exactly the opposite from me. Good luck in your search.

I used to have to go into 1st TN to deposit money for the company I was with. I was carrying, at times, more than 10k in cash. I had a conversation with the guard about it. He wasn't up on the law but he did some research and found that it was legal to carry in banks. These guys that don't know the law are dangerous.

Sent. While I don't think that the victory was a great thing for 2A rights it was a great victory in the form of derailing the Obamacare Bill. Brown isn't much better than his opponent but he breaks the Super Majority hold that the Dems had. They can no longer force anything down our throats. Browns victory should tell them all that the elections will no longer be "Business as usual". They had better wake up and listen to what "We The People" are saying. I think their main focus now will be how they can keep their own seat in Congress. Hopefully most of them won't.

Haven't cared or even watched much since Carson. I did watch the last Tonight Show that Leno did and also the 1st with Conan. I enjoyed those. I also like the shows that Leno has done about his car collection on the Discovery Channel. Put on Carson reruns and it would suit me.

He is only slightly better than Coakley but he is better. I think that most Republicans will admit that there needs to be something done but just not the massive HC bill that the Dems were trying to force down our throats. He will just prevent the Dems from being able to do that.

If you do go Southwest and fly out of Nashville or Atlanta you can print your boarding pass 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. The sooner you print that, the sooner they will board you on the plane (better choice of seats). Often times the flights to Orlando are very crowded. If you wait you may not be able to sit together. I always print them the minute that it will allow me to do so.

I never embraced him and told all who asked to check with me in a few years. I never believed that he had the resume to get the UT job. This is one Vol fan that didn't think his tactics were a good idea. Oh I think that they get it but are not willing to admit it publicly yet. I'll bet the Dems are using a lot of Depends lately so the American public won't see them pissing in their pants.
