Sgt. Joe, I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble out of you new SR9C. I saw one this weekend at G&L and really liked the way it fit my hand. I will be interested to see how your issue is resolved. I would be very hesitant to buy any new style of gun for the simple reason that most seem to have some flaw when they are released. I heard that the new Taurus Slim has had some issues, the Ruger LCP had a recall early and you are having problems with the SR9C. Personally, I would not buy a new model until it had been out for 6 months to a year. I don't have a need to be one of the 1st to own a particular gun no matter how much I liked the look and feel of it. Good luck with yours and keep us posted. I would expect that it will be made right but it may take a while.

The Saints didn't get to Manning like I thought that they would. I was listening to the first quarter and it sounded like the Colts were going to run away with the game but from that point on the Saints did a great job of keeping Peyton on the bench. Congrats to the Saints and their fans.

Agreed! I do all that I can to avoid seeing him anywhere. I want to turn on the game as they are kicking off. I knew there was a good reason not to watch the pre-game crap.

It was around 4:30. We went out there to shoot but was told it would be a 2 hr wait. We looked around a while and left.

I was out at G&L today but didn't see a RAMI.

It's at the Opryland Hotel and I don't know if they ban them or not. It does seem that would have been a major issue when deciding where to have it.

Sounds like you need a better tire shop! I use Steve Bass Tire here in South Nashville and nobody will beat him as far as customer service. His prices may be a bit higher than another place but I keep going back anyway!

There was another thread on here that I can't locate. It had 2 different 911 calls. One was a woman that called when she heard someone breaking in. She was still on the line when she was killed. The second was a woman who had called saying that someone was trying to breakin thru their patio sliding glass door. She told them that her husband had his pistol and was telling the guy thru the door that he should reconsider his actions but the guy continued until he broke the door and then you hear 2 shots. The woman is screaming and then the husband gets on the line and is surprisingly calm as he told the 911 operator what had just happened. Maybe someone else can find that and provide the link to the thread. If so have then listen to those two calls. There is a good chance that even those won't help but it also might make them reconsider their view. Good luck! My parents are both over 80 and they leave their back door open all day long. They can't comprehend the danger and nothing that I say will change that. I just pray that I don't go over and find them dead.

Yeah. Call the Police. They should be the ones that were responsible for securing such a dangerous weapon. Apparently this principle was not qualified to evaluate the weapon in question! It seems that would have taken some good ole common sense and she is obviously lacking that.

I just placed a freeze on my Dad's credit. He has been sending in a bunch of sweepstakes entries and they have started calling his house. My Mom said that he has given SS# and credit card #'s. He says he hasn't but as a precaution I froze his credit file. It cost $7.50 and can be done over the phone with their auto system. I have been told that if someone tries to apply for credit and they don't actually check the credit history that credit can still be issued in his name.

What about all of the guys that say something like that is only an invitation for someone to break into your car? Personally, I don't buy that for a minute. I have had NRA, GOA and a Sig sticker on my car for years with no problems.
