I never used the word "IF". I don't play that game. I was just saying that the Preds just were not good enough to get the job done when a win in that situation could have gotten them to the next round. Chicago was up to the challenge. Preds were not. "IF" the Preds had won that game they still may have lost the series but even "IF" they had won the series I doubt they would have gone much farther.

I did a ride-a-long a couple of years ago here in Nashville. We were on the way down town to drop off a woman that he had arrested. He was driving about 65-70 in a 55 because this woman was spitting all over the back of the car. I was sure glad that the partition was solid plastic and not bars! Anyway there were cars passing us on both sides even running at those speeds. I was amazed because I usually see just exactly what you described but that wasn't the case this time.

There is probably someone else writing that column now but I'm still surprised that was allowed in the paper these days.

I can put one round in a 1 inch group anywhere on the paper but my accuracy goes downhill from there!

I would like to know how the Preds would have done had they not given away game 4 (?) with 13 seconds left against Chicago. Up 3-1 they sure would have been in better position to win that series. Congrats to the Blackhawks!

But my statement still stands. I too would like to find an electrician, plumber, painter, mechanic, etc. on here and spend my money with fellow TGO members when I need something. With the huge membership there should be almost any service available to us. But if I'm Guns and Leather or The Safe House or any of the other vendors, I would feel that I was being penalized for being a gun related business and having to pay to advertise when another member who was an electrician was getting advertising for free. I know there are banner ads for the vendors and what we are talking about would only be a listing in a thread but it's still adverting.

Good idea but wouldn't that kind of undermine the authorized vendors program. They pay for the right to advertise on TGO.

I would expect that to start happening more as they realize how tough it is to raise money in a down economy and how expensive it is to run a campaign.

It surprises me that we have 800+ members a day but no more votes than this after nearly 2 days. Maybe I should have used a line for undecided rather than just the other choice.

This place keeps me ROFLMAO and I desperately need that these days! Of course there is a lot of good information too! I'm 52 and learned how to follow rules years ago.

Right now none of the candidates are getting if front of the cameras. I was totally surprised to hear that there were that many people running for this seat. I don't know if they don't have the money for commercials but unless someone can get some media attention they will not stand a chance. Mr Hartline impressed me but I haven't seen anything else from him since the TFA meeting. We may not hear much from any of them until we see who wins the primary. I won't vote in the democratic primary because there are Republicans that I want to vote for but I will be pulling for Mr Pearson.

.As far as I'm concerned he is still a liberal anti-gun guy. He will never get my vote.

Here are all of the candidates that are running for Cooper's seat in Tennessee's 5th District of the US House of Representatives. I have met Jeff Hartline and Tracy Tarum at TFA meetings. It's going to take a lot of money to take Cooper down. Do any of you know anything about any of these guys? Who do you think has the best chance of winning in Nov.? Seeing Eric Pearson (D) listed as a Tea Party Activist intrigues me so I did a Google search and found this site. Democratic Party - The Democratic Party I would love to see him win in the primary and Cooper never even get to the General election. The problem is that it is already June and I haven't seen anything about Pearson or any of the others in the news at all. I hope that someone steps up soon.

I sent mine to Rep. Jim Cooper. Yeah I know it is a waste of time. He is just a Dem puppet and will do what he is told. He is as worthless as...... I think you can guess the rest.
