  1. Beats me. I would be happy if it was only available for viewing on the users profile page.
  2. ...how long it would take for the "Three Word Thread" to die if the posts in there would not add to the post totals like the New Members and Test sections.
  3. Punks! Glad he got one back! Too bad it wasn't coffee.
  4. Welcome from a Volzfan! Happy that you have joined us.
  5. OK. I should have read it twice. I would rather see a level lower than .08. I really don't see the point of making someone leave a gun in their car so that they can have a drink or two while eating dinner somewhere if he can go to the car and be back in possession of it again. Why not just allow someone to keep it with them but only allow a .04 BAC? Personally, I don't drink so it doesn't matter to me either way.
  6. If no person with a TN HCP can consume alcohol then how do they get any blood alcohol level?
  7. Thanks I guess I had a brain fart!
  8. I don't see it?????
  9. I wouldn't trust BHO to tell me what today's date is!
  10. I don't feel the need to block members very often but have found another that I would like to not see posts from. I can't seem to locate how to do it with the new format. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  11. I'm listening to a local band called The Midnight Riders. They are an Allman Bros cover band and they are very good. The play here in Nashville at 3rd & Lindsley alot. A couple of friends from my childhood are in this group and have been playing together since HS. They also play as The Retro Lunatics and they cover a wide variety of bands when they play as this group. I heard them Saturday night at a friends party and they are very good. Sorry, no vids.
  12. Cancel it and if he gets in touch with you then meet him with the cash. If he doesn't get in touch then You should feel that you have done all that you could do.
  13. I don't think that there is any HCP class that will give you a completely clear understanding of the laws. That is not their job but rather get you started with basics and then the state leaves it up to the HCP holder to search out the rest on our own whether that is in more classes or at the least to look in other places like TGO on their own. That opinion comes from my time here on TGO and seeing the many questions raised about what is legal and what is not. I do agree that about getting started with some knowledge about the law as I stated in an earlier post. In our class there was only a testing of our skills and but I didn't see any teaching at all while on the range.
  14. OP included a link. $39.95
  15. It doesn't matter what the wording is if the ghostbusters sign is included.
  16. Anyone who says they will never have an ND is a fool. I try to keep that picture of the guys foot that he shot a 45 thru fresh in my mind. OUCH!!
  17. I've had my HCP for a few years now and I would be happy if it would just be made to be permanent and no renewal necessary. I like that everyone at least has to go thru the class and prove that they have at least a small amount of ability to pass the course although it doesn't take much knowledge or skill to pass. It is my understanding that these 3 states still will issue citizens a permit so that they can go into other states that recognize that permit. The problem is that some states seem to be withdrawing the reciprocity agreements when the level of training drops top zero. They want to know that visitors with permits have shown a minimum amount of skill and knowledge in order to earn that permit and not simply filled out a form to get it. I would like to see the ability to post any business completely removed. As an HCP holder I feel that if a business is open to the public then I should be able to go into any that I choose. If it is a private country club or something of that sort then let them post. Let them exempt government offices and court houses. That way any sign works and there is no money from the state budget involved. I don't go into any of them very often and more are allowing online business to be done anyway. And for the record, I don't miss Lenny!
  18. I like it so far. The colors are good. I'm sure that there will be features that will take a little while to find but by this time next week I probably won't remember how the old TGO worked!
  19. I've had a P226 Elite in the 40 and sold it and bought a Sig SP2022 40cal. I carry it everyday, absolutely love the way it shoots and don't regret selling the 226. Take a look at the SP 2022. My cousin had the 229 and sold his to get the 2022.
  20. This sign thing is going to be quite a challenge.
  21. Volzfan

    Country Hams

Just buy one of each mentioned and then you tell us who you think is the best!
  22. Looks like the total is going to be 20 lives lost. That is horrible.
  23. That's why I don't ride stuff like that. Someone would catch me on video screaming like a little girl but the title would be "Old Fat Fart on a rollercoaster!"
