I always find it interesting how threads will veer off in different directions but not necessarily hijacked. Someone clicking on the parking thread that finds discussion about marriage may be surprised.

I remember hearing G. Gordon Liddy when he was on the radio here in Nashville. He is a convicted felon and said that he could not own a firearm. However, he said his wife had quite a collection. My wife had hers taken out a few years ago. The Dr that did the surgery said he has actually had one patient who had his taken out in the morning and he went back to work later that day. It was probably desk work. I hope yours goes as smoothly as that guys apparently did. You ought to be able to get a few days off at least!

This is not my endorsement of Dickerson...yet. I just wanted to post the piece that came in the mail.

Yarbro would probably be worse than Henry if you can imagine that. I think he is just trying to get his name out there for when Henry dies or decides not to run he will already have some name recognition. I have sent Chesser an email and got a reply and a phone call. I have received a couple of campaign cards in the mail now from Dickerson. I don't think that there will be much from these two until just before the primary. They don't want to spend all of their money until they see if they will have the chance to be in the General election in Nov.. I've not seen any yard signs or bumper stickers for either of them yet but there are plenty of Henry signs all over this area. It's gonna be tough to get Henry out of his Senate seat.

I once owned a beautiful Sig P226 Elite 40 cal. I absolutely loved the gun but it stayed in my safe except for trips to the range. I got in a pinch for some cash and sold it. I immediately replaced it with another Sig, an SP2022 40 cal. My cousin had bought one in a 9mm and then bought the same in a 40 cal. I had shot them both and was very satisfied with them so I knew I was getting a great gun. I want to also get the 9mm version. Once you own a sig there just isn't anything else that compares. at least for me......yet!
