I'm surprised that a "best friend" didn't know about the gun.

Sat mornings are PACKED in all IHOPS, Cracker Barrels and Shoneys. I think it would be cool to start a regular monthly breakfast meeting somewhere for S. Nashville but open to anyone who wants to come. When the range in the 100 Oaks area gets open then we can add shooting to the agenda! Thoughts, suggestions?

Only two of us showed up but that's OK. Still had some good conversation with Taurus Pro! We weren't attacked in that bad part of town either. Had it been 9pm there could have been a difference but I wouldn't have agreed to that time.

In living up to my user ID I'll be wearing my #27 Al Wilson UT jersey so I'll be easy to spot.

I'm still planning to be there.

List them in best to worst in your opinion. Here is my short list. Even though I have G's and Keltecs low on my list, don't assume that I'm saying that they are not good guns. I just don't like them. ...people love 1911's so much but will bash XD's because of the grip safety? I have never shot a 1911 but once owned an XD-40. I never had any issue with the grip safety. Just wondering!

This is the answer that I have to agree with. If I'm considering a particular gun I like to get opinions from others who have actually owned one. I don't care what someone who has never owned one says even if they shot one a couple of times that a friend owned. I once owned a Keltec that I liked alot but over time there were things about the gun that made me start looking for something else. It wasn't a bad gun, I was just ready to move to something else. If others have had the same experience with the gun I'm considedring then I like to know their thoughts. I now have only DA/SA guns and that's what I buy and carry. I know that's not for everyone but it's where I am today. I carry a couple of CZ's. They aren't easy to find around here but I like them and couldn't care less what anyone thinks. They fit my needs and wants.

I got the opportunity to go to the K-town show this weekend and it puts these shows in Nashville to SHAME!!!

Man what a show. I was just accidently in Knoxville today and dropped by. Spent a few minutes with David. I had picked up some stuff from him here in Nashville a couple of weeks ago. He told me this was the best show in TN and now I know why. They put Nashville area shows to shame. Plenty of most anything except I was looking for CZ pistols and never found a one. If any of you were thinking about getting a few guys together and going, DO IT! I think you will be very glad that you did!

None! It hasn't happened yet. May 15th @ 9am. IHOP Harding @ Nolensville The only thing that would disappoint me is that if no one showed up and I don't expect that. I love to shoot but this is an opportunity to put faces with user ID's. It's for guys that are in the area and just want to say Howdy. Anyone is welcome but I don't expect to see guys drive too far for this but who knows. If it's not your thing, thats OK maybe we'll meet some other place and time.

Think I'm gonna swing by since I'll be in K-town tomorrow. My MIL lives about a mile from there so that will give me an excuse not to sit around her house. What time? Breakfast or lunch. I can get there by 8am. I have to drive my wife to work. It may be just us 2 but thats OK with me.
