I just had a 6ft privacy fence built and was charged $15 a ft. It was well worth the money too. I watched the two guys using a 2 man auger take all day to set the posts. The ground was as hard as you could possibly imagine. Only one hole had any rock in it and no tree roots in any. Just rock hard dirt. There is no telling how long I would have had to work by myself to get those posts set.

Heck, you can just reuse it! There will be more that will be needing it too!

They are fun to shoot. I just bought my 2nd S&W. I have a 686 w/4" barrell and a 66-2 w/ 2.5" barrel. Both are .357 magnums but I like that I can shoot 38's in them both. I never plan to carry the 686 but now that I've added the shorter barreled 66-2 I might just have to get a good holster and take her out for a spin!

OK I'm now officially the proud new owner of the S&W 66-2!

I shoot very few 357 thru my 686 but spend most of the range time shooting 38's and the reason is simply the difference in price. I would do the same with the 66. Of course I'll be running some 357's thru the 66 to see how it handles them!

I always think about this when visiting a range. I don't want to be anywhere near when someone decides to commit suicide. The other thing at a range is that I wonder if the others there have been trained in the safe handling of guns. I don't want to see anyone else die and I certainly don't want to be the one to die or be injured because someone else can't safely handle a gun!

This is about what I had expected when I posed the question. Looks like both will be in my future! Hope my wife doesn't read this!!!

The newly reconstructed racing surface is the only reason for any excitement around the Aug. race. I've been buying tickets there for 15 years and if it's no better I'm gonna drop them. In that time I've seen races where scalpers had single tickets that they were asking $300 per ticket that were not even in the luxury boxes but lately you could have bought good tickets for $10 or $20. You don't say how many bud's you are talking about but getting 3-4 or more together may be harder and drive the price up. Buy all of the single tickets you need and then look for open gaps in the seats and everyone go there.

Distracted driving is so dangerous but will be impossible to stop. It's now illegal to text and drive and that seemed to be aimed more at teens when it passed but as I drive around Nashville I see more irresponsible adults doing it than teens. Glad he lived and I hope that driver is paying for a long time!

OK I know that TGO isn't a good place to ask for an opinion because the members here are so shy about saying what they are thinking. NOT!!!! Now to get serious, I have had the 686 for 10 years or so now and absolutely love shooting this gun. I never have carried it nor do I ever see myself doing so. I just hate the thought of parting with this baby. The problem is that I have the chance to buy a friends S&W 66-2 w/ a 2.5" barrel for $600. I've shot this gun and like it very much also. Has anyone had both of these guns and if so what is you opinion of the 66-2? Even if you never owned a 686 but have owned the 66-2 please give me your opinion on it. The best case scenario is obviously to buy the 66-2 and keep them both and that may be exactly what I do. I also think that the 66-2 may be one that I do actually carry at some point.

All the more reason to practice more and when the time comes we need to be sure there isn't anything more that healthcare personel could do for the deceased perp eliminating the costs!

I'm looking for someone who will recover my car seats. They are cloth now but would like the padding redone and then recover in leather. Can anyone recommend someone locally (S. Nashville) to do this for me? I want both cars done, front seats only.
