Just Sunday I heard a similar story about one of our indoor ranges here in Nashville that I won't name. Fortunately for me I work an odd schedule so I can go to the range during the daytime hours of the weekdays. There are rarely many people there to have to watch. Range safety is very important and should never be taken for granted. The guy who got upset is a jerk and should appreciate learning that he and his family need to focus more on safety.

This is one of the most useless bills ever presented IMO!

I haven't heard anyone here in TN mention any kind of bill like this but that doesn't mean that they won't at some point. The Anti-gun bunch will not stop until we are disarmed completely. Those that are on the fence will say that we just need this law and then that law. It kinda makes me think of the way Dave Ramsey talks about getting rid of a mountain of debt. His comment is "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!" Anyone who can't see that is the same way the Libs have been eating away at that elephant (2nd Amendment) has their head in the sand!

The issue with removing Cooper is that he has Davidson County and that is why he won't be beat. There are too many here that are living off of the government and have been convinced that the only way to keep the FREE money flowing their way is to keep voting Dem. Even with the odds stacked against anyone else taking his seat I'll work very hard for anyone running against him every time he comes up for re-election.

It's not just the DOS applicationyou are paying for and risking if they turn you down but also the cost of the class.   Congrats on your success in beating the alcohol!

Last time I was there I caught a piece on a bounceback on the lip and drew blood. I had 2 more free passes to shoot but threw them away. Never will catch me in there again!

Thankfully all I had was my trash cans blown over with no other damage. Saw some trees down when I took my wife to work. I slept thru the storm and never heard a thing!

And that why we should all get involved with the TFA!

I would encourage everyone to get personally involved in the TFA and help make the changes come about! The RINOS have seen what can happen (Maggart) if these TFA and NRA set their sights on them. The bigger the membership, the better the results. The TFA does a lot more for us locally than the NRA but I believe that membership in both would be best! Don't wait for them to fight our fights!

I just hate to see newbies that don't know any better get taken because of their lack of knowledge. Other than that I don't care. No one is forced to pay these prices. It is the buyers choice to pay or pass. Do I like the high prices? Heck no but we have the Prez to thank for that. 

Member Since 19 Jun 2008 Like most others I was looking for information and ran across TGO. Lots of great info, lots of great guys and gals, lots of BS too but it's all in fun. Lots of fun to read the stuff that happens here like following the escapades of everyones favorite, Kwik. I remember Rabbi and Hexhead! Even some guy called Tungsten! My regret is that I haven't had the chance to meet too many. Probably the best event has been the 2A meeting at The Armory a couple of years ago. The dinner to celebrate our new ability to carry into restaurants that serve alcohol was fun and I believe that was the first time that I met Nikki. She is a real inspiration! We met at Pie in the Sky Pizza in Cool Springs. If I recall correctly there was a group that met at Hooters in Knoxville and later realized that they were posted! I never got to make it to one of the meet and shoot events like Metalhead had at G&L or the ones at Owl Hollow (?). David, what a great place you have here! Thanks for all of the time and effort that you have put into TGO over the years.

I really enjoyed meeting Rep.Carr this morning. After talking and listening to him I'm happy with the bill, HB0042 as written. He is very passionate about what he doing and fighting for our states rights and standing up to the Feds. You guys who live in his district are fortunate to have him!
