I agree. I heard someone on the radio yesterday say that if Phil was on the outside looking in that he too would probably see that this is the right move for TN. Any time that you have someone like Fulmer in this position, who has given his adult life to UT, there is not an easy way to make this happen. Phil gave us a national championship and I am grateful to him for that. They are few and far between and that one may be the only one that I see in my lifetime. I, too, feel bad for Phil but at the same time I am looking to the future with great anticipation to what that future holds for us loyal TN fans. I just hope that Hamilton gets it right the first time and we are not looking at multiple hires over the next 10-12 years.

Good news for TN but will it matter now?

I live in South Nashville and I am on my councilman's list to forward the crime list that the South Precinct sends out most every day. It is surprising how much goes on that the media doesn't cover. I can see the TV news because they are limited by time but it seems that the paper would do a better job of at least listing these reports. Any of you in Nashville should call your councilperson and ask to getbthese reports. If I am not mistaken they all get them from whichever precinct that covers their district.

+1 That's exactly what I do except mine is a mag for my Sig P226. Until they start body searches this will not be detected. All they could do is ask me to leave. Big deal! I would have thought that the gunshow operator could have asked the off duty officer to leave and he would have had to go since he was not there on official duty. Why would he have the right to enter? I personally don't have a problem with an LEO entering a gun show armed but I would not want to take the chance on what some of these idiots that you see at gun shows would do if their weapons were loaded. They could still be doing the same thing that I am so are we ever really safe?

If they cleared the code without making the repair then the code will come back and the "Check Engine" light will come back on. I'm lucky, my best friend is a mechanic so I don't have to worry about getting screwed over on repairs. Anyone in the Antioch area that needs any repairs should check him out @ Auto Specialists on Hickory Hollow Pkwy next to Cartronics. He's good.
