    A joke

I saw a version of this a few years ago. I don't recall who were the 2 on the cheeks but the one in the middle was Hillary Clinton!
  3. That's good news and I sure hope that she is correct.
  4. Words of Wisdom from Chris Rock! That's hilarious!!
  5. I sure wish he had made this choice in early '08 so that W could have appointed his replacement but since he is a leftie I'm sure this was his intention all along. We will now be stuck for decades with someone who is solidly on the left and sure to be on BHO's side of the issue if any of the lawsuits concerning his eligibility to be president ever make it all of the way to the SCOTUS.

  8. I never said anything about carrying where I shouldn't be carrying. In the Kroger thread that I referenced, he was not doing anything wrong but was asked to leave. At that point it seems to be what you are told that would determine whether or not you would be welcome to return. In the Kroger case if I didn't get an apology from store management about how their security mishandled the situation then I would not return. I have never been made that I am aware of. My question was hypothetical. I think that I do a pretty good job of concealing my gun. If I am ever told not to return then they will never see me there again. I will not risk my permit.

    kel tec p11

Ditto here. I carried mine for a year and traded it for the reasons listed here.
  10. Arlen Sphincter is a piece of crap that's only trying to save his job and his gravy train on the taxpayers dime. Voters should have booted him long ago!
  11. This is my point. It all depends on what is said at the time. But who can prove what was said?
  12. I am not saying that I would ignore them telling me not to come back. If they specifically say that I am not welcome back in that business again, that's fine. There are other places that will be happy to take my $$. If they didn't tell me that I am not welcome back would that leave me the option to go back while carrying? Can they tell me that I am welcome back if I'm not carrying?
  13. I don't OC ever. We usually spend our $$ at Wally World and I know their policy is that as long as the gun is concealed they don't mind but if I am there and another customer sees my gun and complains to management and they ask me to leave or take the gun off and leave it in my car but don't tell me that I am not to ever come back carrying does that give me the option of carrying again in that store?
  14. Anything new with the website, Metalhead?
  15. I was reading the thread about being asked to leave the Kroger today ( http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handgun-carry-self-defense/20590-asked-remove-my-weapon-kroger.html ) and I had a question I have not noticed being addressed. If I go into any public building that is legal to carry and is not properly posted and the management or security somehow realize that I am carrying and then ask me to leave is that request only for that visit? If I were to go back at a later date carrying again would I be in violation of any trespassing laws?
  16. Doesn't that mean dead for this session?
  17. I hope that you are right!
  18. +1 Definitely go see a branch manager. Things like this just reinforces my decision not to do deposits like this. I would be worried that they would take that money back if you don't get the replacement checks. Good luck.
  19. I guess that I ain't the first to fall for this!
  20. You should be VERY proud!!!
  21. Does anyone know about the bill that would restrict employers from prohibiting employees from having a gun locked in their vehicle while at work and vehicle on company property?
  22. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves. ......Abraham Lincoln ========================================================= Would the person or person's monitoring these forums for the BHO administration PLEASE pass this along to the acting President? Thank You!
  23. I got there about 11:20 and could not get close enough to hear or see. There should have been speakers lining the plaza so that more could hear. If you were behind the stage you couldn't hear because of the cars blowing their horns. I saw all four local TV station news crews there. I guess we'll see how they spin their coverage tonight. it was still worth it to do my part to support the cause with my attendance.
