  3. Very Cool! I do remember when you posted that pic... I am glad our families were looking out for us and left us '51 Commanders
  4. Thanks one more that I forgot ... Not a safe Queen but is a P226 West German made
  5. Man I need to build a box... I keep putting it off. Nice work and great photos!
  6. Yesterday I had the opportunity to take a few pic's of guns that needed their annual cleaning. The is the 1951 (serial 12,xxx) that had a good cleaning for '09. The LWC has been in my family many years. Is bone stock other than the grips. I do not have the original plastic grips or I would put them back on the gun. Next is a Clark Pinmaster Colt .45 ACP on a Series 80 Frame. I shot this one a week or so ago so it too needed a cleaning. It is a 1990 Clark Pinmaster by Jim Clark. http://www.bullseyepistol.com/clark.htm Not a safe queen but I will share a pic in case some wanna check it out. It is an older pic but my Kimber Compact Custom had "lube job" yesterday as well. Next is a Walther PPK Lightweight Nazi Eagle-N in .32 ACP. Again in my family for many years. Last is a BHP that was my grandfathers. It is a 1973 series BHP with the Bianchi holster that he gave it to me in. He was not huge on cleaning his guns so this one shows some abuse marks...it still means the same to me though I ran out of time or I would have more to share... I still smell of Hoppes #9, CLP, & WD-40 today LOL.
  7. LOL I would not go for all the $$$ in the world.

Dang I like the wood/AR-15 much better than I thought that I would.
  19. I'd go Kimber but that is just me... I picked up a magazine at Krogers last night that had a write up on the Kimber with .22 conversion. I will look at which one it is and post up tonight.
  20. NICE! Makes me want a Nighthawk really bad.
  21. Before my tape job. After with Rosewood ambi-safety grips and new screws
  22. I use grip/grit tape... I have a stippled front strap Clark Custom gun and I like the tape just as well. I ran across a site where the strips are sold in pre-cut and in different colors ... but now, I cannot locate it. I was going to order a few to try but since I cannot locate the link, I will just stick with my roll of grit tape.
  23. Sorry to hear that David... I hope that the win-win deal works out for you.
  24. Congrats! Very nice
  25. Nice 3914 and great choice on the sites.
