I used a Surefire 6P LED on mine. Maybe something with more than 80 Lumens or UV would work better, good question. The charge on mine would not last "overnight"...an hour or two at best.

Eric that is the Weaver off of the PSS. Your ole 10x is on something else. I may have the Us Optics USMC MST-100 on the way soon (fingers crossed).

I tried them on they would not stay put very long. You may want to superglue them to be safe. They dont hold a charge as long as the ad says that they will either....just my experience. I hope that you experience is much better

They were closed Ihear that they will be closed again this weekend I may try to locate the Manchester range or dirve to Smith county where a buddy has a place to shoot.

Congrats Dave... I was shocked to see how accurate my litte P3AT was/is. I wear it daily now and with the hip clip it is easy to cover.

Thanks guys.... It is not a 100% Spec build but it will be a shooter for me and it will be at the range every change that I get. I hope to load some rounds and get out this weekend if mother nature will allow me to.

I Thought that I would share a project that I have been working on. I am working on a M40 Clone too but I still need one part for the M40... so for now... here is the M40A1 clone. I may never to be able to find the "correct" scope (Unetrl 10x) so for now this project is done. I may put a S&B, Nightfore, or USO scope on it if I cannot get the MST-100. For now it will wear a Weaver 10x Mildot. Specs: Stock- McMillan 100% original "early smear" stock with matching number bottom metal. Stock was bedded to the action by Ronnie Morris (Match Service Works). Mr. Morris also reparked the bottom metal for me. Correct MRT 1986 USGI sling. Action- Correct six digit (221,xxx)Rem 700 action, clip slotted by G.A.Precision. Trued and chambered Correct stamps: RTE-P (Rifle Team Equipment-Proofed), US Stamped above serial number, bolt and recoil lug numbered. Barrel is the correct length but it is a Rock 5R threaded 5/8 X 24 but still has a thread protector with USMC crown. I had the smith put a Badger Thruster Tactical Compensator on it for now. He does build "other options" . Untitled Page For now it has a Badger Ordnance 20MOA mount with "issued item" Badger M40A3 rings. I have the correct Unetrl mount and rings on the way and will add them if/when I find the correct scope. A few pics. I hope to range test it this weeknd if possible. With the Brake on

Good stuff....I liked seeing the gear in action. I wish that I could find the missing piece to my M40A1 return stock spec-build (Unertl MST-100). I saw one or two on the show last night.

I have a pre-series II Kimber and it will never be sold. It functions 100%, is a good size, and looks good to me too. I have had a newer Kimber (Grand Raptor II) and the few times that I shot it ... it preformed well too.

Looks NICE I have extra rear sight parts... When we were at the range it seemed like the "teeth" on your pinion or apature were worn. I have a few of both on hand if you have not corrected the issue.
