  1. http://defcad.org/ar-15-magazine-30-round-mag/   Anyone try these yet?
  2. Cheek-pad finally came in the last week or so of March. Good stuff!
  3.   To answer all of your questions and concerns: hell yes. :stalk:
  4. Hey! I keep my guns right next to the bathroom sink as well! :usa:
  5. hmmm, for some reason, I thought the terms "market" and "price"  weren't interchangeable......   :tinfoil:   But I digress...time to see them crocodile tears! :yum:
  6. Stag works well for me so far...
  7. As far as I know, shipping auto knives across state lines is illegal for civilians, so ordering is out unless they ship from TN...
  8.   Cool, let me know if it's any good!
  9. Wonder where they are made? Regarless, that is an insane deal.
  10. May finally get a benchmade-auto! No hate for my Kershaw, but Lord willing, I may have a nicer EDC!
  11. A few people I know were telling me about taking about "snipe hunting," and wanted to take me since I've never heard of it; but the way they described it to be sounded as if they intend to take me way out in the woods and ditch me in the middle of the night. Like a prank. Hmmmm, I know what a snipe is, but are there even any in Tennesse?
  12. Holy crap! Made in U.S.A!!!!! :usa:
  13. seeing as lot of good ideas on this thread, good stuff so far ya'll!

    Which one?

If only one gun, AR-15 with the carbine upper in addition to a 410 upper....
  15. Picked up a few of these for twelve-bucks a pop today. They are definately not Pmags, but the are made in USA and right now I can't complain about getting anything AR-15 for a decent price. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm sure they're fine...   The place I went to also had some .223 American Eagle ($8-something/20rd, 3 box-limit per day, picked up three) and some Hornaday Steel Match 5.56 (almst $1 a round) that was about gone, and they prolly are out as I'm writing this.... but it was still nice to see rifle ammo on the shelf while it was there....
  16.   I was hoping this is all it is. I'm also glad that it's not just me. I've never ordered from shopruger.com, so I've nothing to base my experience on...
  17. Cool stuff. Let us know how that light fairs after some slugs or buck-shot!
  18. Made an order on shopruger.com for a cheekpad that I couldn't find anywhere else. That was on 2/14. Only received an order confirmation on the same day. I know that like most firearm related dealers, things are crazy right now.   That being noted, its been two weeks, no word, no charge, no updates and the number they provided for customer service leads be to automated answering machines eventually ending with "please try your call again later."   I'm not necessarily complaining, but I would like to know what is going on with my order from a human being. Any suggestions?   *EDIT: also, not sure if this was the right category, posted it here because it is in reference to an accessory...
  19. I wouldn't mind either of those setups. However, at my current residence I have to walk on eggshells with what I do, so if I get the chance to set up rain cans here, they have to look more decorative that functional. Sucks to be that way because a dual 50 gallon trashcan setup would cost me only the cost to build the stand, pvc pipes, and spouts since there are already some 50 gal cans laying around.....   Now if I'm fortunate enough to get a few acres in a wooded area sometime, things would be different because I wouldn't have to worry about people seeing a bunch of cans around the house.
  20. This would be a neat setup!   http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-5962-Barrel-DiverterPro-Black/dp/B00387FP5M/ref=reg_hu-rd_add_1_dp   http://www.amazon.com/Sterling-156501-Rain-Wizard-Oak/dp/B0033VJ04K/ref=pd_sbs_lg_3   http://www.amazon.com/Good-Ideas-RW50ST-OAK-50-Gallon-Wizard/dp/B0034PIL54/ref=pd_bxgy_lg_img_y
  21. Anyone have experience with these. I can sort of see a Chrome/Nickel plated bolt carrier assembly as having some benefits for being easier to clean, but are there any other benefits, or is this just a clever marketing trick?
  22. Interesting experiences Dennis. I'm too impatient to wait. Just experimenting with indoor seed starting. I'm doing it via plastic bags with a damp coffee filter as a growth medium. This year I also have a heat mat to help foster a better growth atmosphere.   Even though I just started them yesterday, I'm already seeing some early signs of germination with the lettuce seeds, specifically Black-Seeded Simpson and Parris Island. Hope this is a sign of good things to come.
  23.   Only time will tell, like Mike posted, some hybrid and gmo stuff might not produce as expected. I buy organic seed myself. They are a bit pricier, but mot organic seeds are non-gmo and unless otherwise explicitly stated, they aren't hybrid either.
  24. Good to hear I'm not the only one... :usa:
