  1. I remember challenging one of my teachers in HS to the school restricting students first amendment rights. I was told the constitution does not apply on school grounds basically.
  2.   More Power to you. I won't buy ammo unless I can get it at prices that I perceive as a value. Or unless my perception of value changes. :panic:
  3. Patience. One does not simply build a 6.5 Grendel overnight. :usa:
  4.   I think it's more a play on someone noting that folks here just want to argue about something.
  5. :tinfoil: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6.     What if Glock made a 1911?!?
  7. Never liked how vague 'facts' can be presented about an event for two sides to have at it and attempt to fill in all of the missing information about the events to fit their logic/arguments. Kinda like politics.   I didn't witness the event, and all of the information I get from relating to the incident is from second-hand and third hand sources. The first hand sources leave a lot to be desired. Oh well. Sad that a person is killed in a questionable manner with very little evidence to prove beyond a doubt what actually happened only to give people something to form conspiracy theories about; like the JFK assassination, Marylin Monroe death, Bigfoot/yeti, shadow people and aliens.
  8. I'm so OCD that I won't buy food without reading the ingredient label. MaraNartha is my favorite peanut butter so far. Has about five ingredients in it like the Kroger PB you mention.
  9.   The midway link shows 10 50rd boxed for $20.99.
  10. Have a good time man.
  11. Seems like an option for rain-water purification.   I can see this as a viable alternative to filters, and possible a longer term solution.   Any ideas on the topic of distilling rain water for consumtion?
  12. Wonder what he thinks of America after this.....
  13.   Spring assisted knives are fine. My EDC is spring assisted. From my understanding, the language for switch blades is that the automatic action must be initated by a mechanism in the handle, such as a button. In a spring assisted knife, the action is initiated from manipulating the blade, not from the handle. Therefore spring assisted knives are not switchblades.
  14.   Laws mostly stay the same, no gravity knives, switchblades, etc. The big thing that past is preemtion. This will nullify local city ordinances that put further restrictions on civilian carry, such as further restrictions on blade length. Clarksville is one city with a local ordinance resticting blade length for civilian carry to 3'' or less.   The main goal of preemtion is state wide consistancy on blade carry laws.   Hopefully next year the parts that were gutted-out will pass, such as removing restrictions auto knives and blade lenght restrictions.
  15. It's a huge step when you have local ordinances further restricting civilian carry. In Clarksville, TN, for example, one cannot carry a knife that has a blade exceeding the length of three inches. Preemption would null that out. That expands my rights since I'm frequenty there. I don't have to worry as much about what I carry with this.   It's definately a step in the right direction for some people. Still nowhere near the greatness of the original unamended bill. :shake:
  16.     That being said, if I ever get my 'dream plot' in the middle of the woods, a chainsaw will be on my list as well right after a felling axe and spliting mull.
  17. Now just imagine if these new fangled machines didn't exist. :pleased:
  18. I almost crapped myself. I was expecting something completely 180....                                 :poop:
  19. Oh the glory of not having a phone number any longer! :usa:
  20. Woooooo! Time to get a bigger spring assist! :usa:

  22.   I dunno, I don't watch baseball     I'd hope so. I'm just waiting for there site to take visa, because lump sums suck. :surrender:
  23.   More power to them then if then can sell it for that rate. I'd really like to see the retailer caltch up with the scalper's pricing that way the market and profit magins stays competitive! At least that way the only loser is the manufacturer for not knowing the value of their ammo. :pleased:
  24. Well, since we've established the legality of scalping several times, I sure hope they keep it legal by ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations on conducting business and providing services by ensuring they have any required state and local permits and licenses, as well as reporting their new found income when they file their taxes for this year. Such outstanding and industrous individuals as they are will surely follow all laws and the like.   Of course, this should only to those most enterprising scalpers out there doing the greatest service to the market since scalping is obviously such a scarce practice. :usa:
