  1. Have you tried pressing and holding the power button and the home button down at the same time for up to 20 seconds to see if anything happens? Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.
  2. Most diet fads are just that, fads. Metabolism and caloric intake are probably the two more important players that are grounded in real science. Also, most sheep...er....people eat so much garbage and poison on a daily basis, it is no wonder they have weight problems.   Just think of it this way, most people don't know that they brush their teeth with toothpaste containing ingredients common to products such as coolant, rat poison, and antibacterial hand soap. So why would they care what's in their body when they don't care what's in their mouth.
  3. Looks like I will also have to replace the front iron sight with something that compensates for the lower setting gas block rail. Not too worried about that until I know the problem is fixed.
  4. Building another? With the other barrel I assume.   I see you have a PRS for it as well.... Great pick for the stock on both. Building mine in OD green at the moment, but may get cerakoted in coyote if I can muster up the cash to get a U.S. Optics sight.........
  5. New JP adjustable gas block is on. Going to test it as soon as I get to the range. I'm on call tomorrow and probably next week too, but I will try to sneak over there for a bit one day.....
  6. In Clarksville, as mentioned above, these things are everywhere. So long as you can get on the Ft. Campbell side and boot hill area you shouldn't even need a gps...never been to one, so I can't give any recommendations. Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.
  7. The tree kind?... Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.
  8. The string snapped off? I've read of this happening to others. Mine has always worked fine. Perhaps a quality control issue? I mean, these thing are made in a communist country... Maybe they don't know about Six Sigma over there.... Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.
  9. Coffee for breakfast and lunch, beer for dinner... Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.
  10.   Almost $100 on top of a chrome or nickel plated one. I'd almost say it isn't worth the weight reduction. Plus I imagine it would take longer to clean.
  11. sheesh, $250. Wonder if it's worth that for only another tick mark toward perfection?
  12. Just watching some random videos, came upon this one. Anyone ever hear about golf balled bolt carrier groups? (At 22:25)   Seems legit, but almost over the top. Any comments or experience on this?   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiIbqLlQnIc
  13.   Depends on your definition of freedom. I don't think licenses should be required....

    DSLR's

That's a lot of camera. Just hope whoever gets it knows how to optimize their pics with it!
  15. Hope things get a lot better for Ernie as well as ya'll.
  16. Ended up ordering this gas block: http://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPGS-1 Broke the gas assembly down and am currently waiting for the new gas block. I will report the results as to whether the issue is remedied or not as soon as I can get to the range with the new gas block (hopefully the weekend after installing). 17. hmm, looks a bit photoshopped or something....
  18. I'd take one off you, but I'm still waiting for the one I ordered in July from Satern to come in. Don't need to be in the same boat as you... These lead times on grendel barrels are exciting indeed!!
  19. Maybe the lansky stone is not abrasive enough to start sharpening it? I love the lansky system for pocket knives, but perhaps it is not aggressive enough for ceramic?

  21. 'The right of the People', I have little to no respect for anyone who cannot comprehend the meaning of those five words written in that order. Doesn't take an English Major. Especially don't respect a supporter of the Nanny/Police State....
  22. The e-mail to my Senator who I am hoping to see a reply from...
  23.   On my build, the barrel I have on order is .875, so the MicroMOA is out of the question at the moment for me. (Unless they begin to manufacture in that size). I'd like to get gas block for it in case I am wanting to run a silencer in the future, but also as a hedge against possible overgassing like what is happening on my current rifle.   Hopefully won't have to worry about overgassing since the barrel is longer. :x:
  24.   Several instances of poor weapon handling skills, shooting live rounds with live people in front of them. and too many instances of fidgettyness with their weapons all indicate (to me at least) that none of these 'trainees' had adequate weapons experience for this class, assuming it is a class and that this wasn't staged. The fact that they went through an entire course with a trainer that could not recognize these problems is beyond me.   I am no weapons expert or anything, and being that and needing further training, based on this video I would not consider this firm.   That being stated, from the propaganda standpoint, perhaps the entire training was edited down to this video and conveyed as what is typical of their training. A stacked deck of behaviors that were later corrected, if you will...
  25. They look neat on their webpage...
