My account indicated an email has been sent. :pleased: -
I agree, and think that warrants are bogus, but the article itself gives very little situational information, and the warrant is very detailed. I won't justify the actions of any government agent as moral. They have the legal right to act on evidence they say they have under oath, and the constitution gives them the right to do so as long as it is in accordance of the Fourth Amendment. If they violate anything, it is something that would be settled in court. Of course, that is assuming that the system works... I don't believe that laws are valid in general. I think this guy should have been left alone. Who cares if he did have someone else buy a bunch of guns for him? Who cares if he did manufacture destructive devices? Why should anyone care? If they aren't bothering other people or infringing upon someone else's immediate right to life or freedom, no one should care. It's their business unless they bring someone else into it involuntarily, but there are over 300,000,000 Americans and the Best Government that money can buy in place to disagree with me.

Yup, sucks all kind of undesireables. I hope that guy gets a job somewhere better where they won't fire him if this situation were to occur again. But, that won't stop me from going there. Those places are very convenient.

If he agrees to the policy, there really isn't much to consider. If he was in a life or death situation that violated the businesses non-escalation policy and he wanted to defend himself rather that die, then unfortunately that choice violates company policy. It is then up to the company to decide whether or not to enforce their own policy, and being an at-will employee, he agreed by working there that they have the right to terminate his employment for any or no reason at all.

Anyone else read the Warrant? The warrant suggests he made desructive devices and boobie traps. Also did straw purchases on a lot of guns.
-
This is really odd. For a biblical end times prepper, the warrant suggests he is beyond hell bend on killing only government agents...

You can punch through both sides of a drywall-wall with enough motivation. If this shirtless tatooed hippy can do it, I don't see why ammo can't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez7as08FYtc

But if demand stimulates supply, one must wonder whether it is the programmers programming the people to like trash, or if the masses just like trash and the trash just happens to be a vessel for programming the people who like it....

I'm pretty tolerant of about any language and content on TV and in movies. May be the generation thing, or some of the jobs I've done, or a combination. That shouldn't suggest that I think modern TV or movies are enjoyable. Most suck...bad. Take out most of the language, sex, agendas, and scatological jokes and there isn't much left other than some shallow people. I almost just read old books more that anything else these days, because I think most programming is trash. Breaking Bad, Psych, Wilfred, House of Cards, Burn Notice, are a few of the newer shows I enjoy, but they are anything but clean. Duck Dynasty and Phineas and Ferb are about the only clean shows I like.
Seems we have had this talk before, I said it was going to be coming to this. ALL drugs that change your mood, adjust your behavior, or try to control your emotions will get your firearm taken. Just wait till you have a death in the family, you just might get a visit asking for your firearms. The back door to gun control.
Caffeine fits that description... I hope they don't come take my guns away for drinking coffee.... Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.

That's a dumb reason. Sent from somewhere in the cosmos using magic...and bacon.

I like that article. Way more in line with my thinking. "Today is a day to recognize that the death of these police officers was a detriment, not a triumph, in the fight for freedom: An example of sinking to the level of statism. We must be better than that. We are better than that. So instead of shooting a cop when he’s grabbing some pizza, join him. Pick up a slice and talk with him about why liberty is so important. Pizza and ideas: Those are the keys to freedom." Makes me want pizza for some reason though.....

Hehe, before I resigned my job today, I worked with sheet-metal constantly when assembling a part of an oven. We wear kevlar arm-guards and gloves, but after 1000 sheets it doesn't really matter. I always have random small cuts on my left hand. I won't miss that.
