  2. They still make some in the USA
  3. I was leaving a range once when the range was cold, range officers where changing over. The original range officer said I was good to pack up and go after he ensured my weapon was clear. I double checked before putting it back in the case out of habit and upon touching my rifle, then pointing the muzzle in a safe direction to double check, the fresh range officer who was ignorant of the situation freaked out. Good thing the other range officer was still there to tell him " nah, he's good, he's just leaving." Point being, always get the range officer to clear you if you have to leave when the range is cold, but never during a shift change...
  4. I'm not going anywhere, it's the government that's the problem, not me. They should take a flight.
  5. Strike three...time to toss my phone in a trash compactor full of rusty nails and diesel and Invest In a good blow torch from Lowes
  6. Nevermind, I effing hate Tapatalk lately....
  7.   The more pressing mystery, my dear Watson, is how does one get a holster into a pistol like that?
  8. I could be wrong, but the AR-15 was designed to fire 5.56...
  9. Still prettier than a Glock. :stir:
  10. Kinda looks like the holster was intentionally stuffed into the trigger guard to catch the trigger like that.....
  11. How do I opt out of being governed?
  12. Depends on the range officer. Some are cool, others tend to be high-speed, tight-wound commando-authoritarian control-freak types.
  13. How many grains is this one? If it's more than 10,500 gr, ya'll should ignore this ad....
  14. They have benches, and I know they rent out lead sleds, not sure about weights or sandbags though.
  15. Whether or not you shoot prone is up to the range officer. Generally they wont let you shoot prone, but I've been there a few times when the range officers where cool with it. Just plan on using the bench to be realistic.
  16. Edited my last post, here are the rest of the Ruger:   http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/1cd7/ovzau067bulk5avzg.jpg   http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/a690/1ubcpk5g8qn2582zg.jpg   http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/365c/y0ao2i4ec6ij69jzg.jpg   http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/d832/tp0jj6ip6gaj2rpzg.jpg

  18.    That one made me cringe!     :dirty:
  19.   Yep, this is common with area code overlays.
  20. Dang, some of that AK furniture makes me want an AK....
  21.
  22.   I just hate how compressed my image looks on the forum. Maybe it's photobucket? They look much better through photobucket after clicking the "view image" button on the top right of the photos....
  23. Edit, Mediafire keeps quality better than photobucket:
  24. Hate to bring my opinion on safeties...but anyone who cannot safely handle/operate/carry a firearm without a safety mechanism probably shouldn't do so period. Safeties make firearms dangerous to some because they instill the idea that by having a weapon on "safe", magically makes them less dangerous and their handling more negligible. Safeties can and do fail and do not excuse anyone for any level of mishandling.
