From the wiki article linked above: In that case I'll just let them eat wasps and hopefully mud daubers if I see them. I rarely have issues with wasps and hornets when they are close. I usually just let them be or swat them off if need be.

I once had a small snake get in the kitchen. I threw a bag of frozen veggies on it for about 15 minutes, then picked it up and let it out.

It's made in Germany, that's all I can find with what you provided. Most of the PAL knives I've looked through in a bing search where all made in the USA. Edit: Shoot, you beat me to it einfield.

I personally wouldn't send it back. Looks more like a blemish to me, and a blemish on the carrier is not something that concerns me, I would be more worried about the bolt face or the cam pin.

Well, good luck with the upper. I just soak the piss out of the pins with WD 40 and stick the upper in the freezer overnight if you have that kind of time. But then again, I'm patient and lazy.
