  1. Larue is pretty liberal when it comes to freebies. Even with small orders.
  2.   Standards, not rules....   It kind of hurts to look at that photo; I totaled that car when I fell asleep behind the wheel at the end of February. I may never have that awesome of a car again.
  3. Stickers on paint is just a massive pet peeve of mine. Windows only. WINDOWS ONLY!!!!
  4. You put it on your paint! :wall:
  5.   I hate WD-40 as a lubricant; it dries out way too fast. Better for penetrative purposes that actual long term lubrication. It's great for cleaning metal up too. I strongly prefer chain grease or gun oil for lubricating applications.
  6. I use Q-tips to clean out the gas key all the time. I never have problems, never lose the tip in the key, and never worry about it. I never use solvents to clean my guns either, unless something wont clean up with oil...and I've never "not" been able to clean every part with just oil.
  7. You can say that again...good night! Thank God for whoever inventend clamp on adjustable gas blocks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk

  9. These usually run $60-65. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
  10. Overgassed if brass is ejecting 12:00-3:00, kicking harder, running dirty. Just keep in mind that that image is generic, the lower bcg is considered the "full auto" carrier. Either will work fine if your rifle is tuned right.
  11. Scratch that, 1.33oz
  12. Like the near 1.5 oz buffer I run iny 5.56 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I547 using Tapatalk
  13. My choice in home defense round if I have to use my AR is 62 gr LAP (green tip), because it all paints the walls the same color. I don't run lighter than 62 gr in general, but that's preference.
  14. This one is a Mod 1 Gen 2, it has the bearing detent. Hopefully I can run down to the range sometime after this week. Being on-call sucks.
  15. The Raptor raptor charging handle has always appeared to me as a popular ambi-charging handle. It's very tacticool and expensive. They are nice, I had one on my old AR. However, on my first true build I wanted to get one but didn't want to spend $85-90 on one part that only serves to improve the rifle's "look". So instead I decided to try out the SLR Renegade. And I don't regret it. This charging is ambi (if you like your rifle to swing both ways), latchless, and a less expensive alternative to the Raptor. Both the Raptor and the SLR Renegade weigh about the same (1.4oz), are ambidextrous, and give the rifle a different look and feel. The latchless feature of the Renegade is interesting; instead, this charging handle utilizes a detent bearing to catch into the receiver. Only time will tell weather this was good purchase or not. Plus, I need to hit the friggin' range now that I have this and a new muzzle device.
  16. Looks like a lot of the kits available are sans the barrel and a few other small parts.
  17. As long as you don't mind used:   http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/used-us-military-colt-m16a1-parts-kit?a=1143546   Well shit, nevermind, sold out.
  18. Have you considered an M16A1 kit, if you can find one? Just A2 uppers that look similar to an A1 are quite expensive.
  19.   :usa:
  20. I have three coming eventually. I'll be a guinea pig. :x:
  21. Like this: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/14434/category/4282/    or $30 more gets some Magpul furniture: http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/catalog/product/view/id/15072/category/4282/
  22. PSA has been running some wicked deals on lowers and lower kits, you may want to check them out and you might keep the total build cost well under $300 if you time it right.
  23. I'd hate to get hit by any of it.
  24. Media Spin Mastas! It doesn't matter whether it's true or not; only if the sheeple believe it!
