I'd just break the shotgun apart completely and paint the receiver, furniture, barrel, mag tube, etc...pretty much the what you want painted (assembled minus the guts. I had broken everything down on mine when I used chalkboard paint, and painted all the parts I wanted painted individually since it was a solid color. Turned out great, even if the green is a bit loud.

Anderson is one of the best values in AR receivers; uppers or lowers. Unless I'm doing a specialized build or a "tacticool" looking build, I don't buy anything else. I do have three TN Arms Co hybrid poly lowers that will see some trial, but unless these three really impress me, I will probably go back to Anderson on later builds.

Might be fun, might be bunk. I have no interest in Full Auto or anything that attempts to simulate it though. Mag dumps get more expensive every year.

Be careful changing to "extra power" springs. I did that once. Once. Turned out my BCG wouldn't lock back to the bolt catch when the mag was empty. I only use standard or low powered springs now.   There really is no reason to change to a heavy buffer at all unless you have cycling issues, and if you do it's best to address the gassing issue you have rather than changing out the buffer. Heavy buffers don't fix problems, they only mask them.

I once had left my AR-15 loaded up for a day or so, just setting on the ground. Something really weird happened with it too; it didn't kill anyone.
