I have a Faxon barrel and the quality is great for the price, but looking at their site, they only offer 1:8 twist. That could run 55 gr, but probably not as well as a 1:9 would.

Already have a good Leatherman skeletool thingy. Also have a decent Estwing hatchet. I have a sawyer 4L gravity filter doohickey as well, so I can probably fill up a few canteens with one or two runs of it at a time. Maybe some more ideas. A lot of the profiles have to do with weight, gas port length, and heat dissipation. I'm sure you can get a guru on here to talk about barrel harmonics, but I don't know much about music.

  I've red the reticules on Meprolights are kinda big when compared to Eotech. I think my Eotech had a 1 moa dot, and Meprolights are several MOAs.   I'd still want a Meprolight if I had a Tavor to keep it Israeli.

What is the relation of the term "to lock in place" with "permanently" attached? I have an ATI stock for an AR, and no special tools are needed to remove it, so it can be quickly removed and installed. I'm sure it's not even a gray area with the ATF, but their SBR rules are just plain stupid anyways.
