Not bad. The defense looked great. Offense had a few mistakes, but looked to be just nerves of young and inexperienced players. Butch has definitely made his mark.

People thought there was an ammo shortage before....... -
I'm looking at getting a shortened version of a Brown Bess called a ship's carbine. Admittedly I have no need for it except that it will be a blast to shoot. Anyone have any experience with a brown bess either full size or shortened? Especially looking for buck and ball loads or full shotgun type loads.

Instant cold packs are one source for small amounts of ammonium nitrate. Just cut them open and toss the bag of water inside. But buying too many cold packs will put you on the radar as a possible meth cook.

New to Middle TN - I have some Q's
quietmike replied to WSCJonathan's topic in New Member Introductions
Two friends have opened a range in Chapel Hill. They charge a yearly rate and have separate pistol and rifle ranges going out to 1,000 yards. Coded gate access and full surveillance video. They also offer several classes from intro to firearms on up. http://www.strategicedge.us/gun-range -
First one in west Nashville. Second one this morning on I-65 Now a third one on I-65 just outside Birmingham Now for the conspiracy theory bit. If these were coordinated actions would they report it and get people in an uproar, or would it be explained away as remarkable coincidence?

Wouldn't it be better to put the bag outside the foam? Thinking Krystal burgers or Taco Bell. -

Understanding the Cloward-Piven strategy make all the government foolishness of the past few decades become crystal clear. Basically the strategy is to overload the economic sytem with debt and people living on the dole. The economic crisis will result in a political crisis and certain groups will say the only way out is a full-on socialist system. If you watch, you will see some politicians jumping the gun over relatively minor issues, so the agenda is in place. http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2010/03/24-4

Pay isn't the issue, instead it's our devalued money. In the early 60's minimum wage was $1.75/hour, but that money was based on gold and silver. Today those five silver quarters are worth ~$20. If the current minimum wage was paid in silver quarters, you'd have ~$116 in buying power. So we have about 700% inflation between the sixties and now.

My vote would go to the Glock, but it would be a Glock 23 A conversion barrel and mag will make it a 9mm or a barrel alone will make it a 357 sig.

Another vote for beltman. Mine is seven years old and still going strong.

FB statement from Remington....

Who is the commander in chief of SOCOM? SOCOM is not an autonomous body. I'm not saying it was a direct payoff, but, it wouldn't be the first time the military was used to push legislation. -

The federal powers that be are not only sympathetic, they are the ones behind it all. -

Hmm. What about their loyal customers, especially in N.Y.? Those 1300 employees are the smaller group by far. At the very least Remington should refuse sales to government entities in N.Y. From the replies on their Facebook post, most people still believe it was a payoff. -

I still carry an old gen 2 Glock 21, most of the finish is worn thin or gone on the corners. Mechanically it's still pristine. It's a tool, designed to do a job. I give no more thought to dings and scrapes on it than I would on a pair of vise grips.
