1. I am partial to the keltec sub 2000 with glock mags. Accurate, some customizability, lots of different magazine sizes available, and fits nicely in a backpack. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
2. I think it really comes down to the scenario/source of SHTF. If you can see the threat, coming before it hits, you have time to grab a couple different weapons and cans of ammo. What you can carry will become your most plentiful source of ammo, because everybody will become ammo hoarders in about 2 seconds flat. So small, lighter weight and packing a punch will mean you are able to carry more, more effectively. .223 would probably become my round of choice, with .22lr as a backup. If you need to be mobile, .308 is larger, and heavier, reducing the amount you can carry. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
3. Decent SHTF guns: Keltec SU16B. It's .223 but folds in half for portability and takes STANAG mags. $500 Keltec Sub2000 in .40sw has the same energy at 50 yards as a .357 at its muzzle. $400 AR-15 you assemble using PSA kits on special. This can be completed for under $600 with the right parts. HiPoint 4095(,40sw) or 4595(.45) both can be found for under $300 Mosin Nagant in the Arch Angel stock accepts 5 and 10 round magazines. SKS, $350 price range You might be able to find an AK in the $500 price range if you hunt online. I don't know much about the MVP. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
4. Shapeoko - CNC mill for less than $700 https://www.inventables.com/technologies/desktop-cnc-mill-kits-shapeoko-2 However, this would be amazing to own http://makezine.com/2013/09/23/pocketnc-an-affordable-five-axis-cnc/ Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

8. "together unmarried, they would qualify for the subsidies and could literally save hundreds of dollars a month on their health care" Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't subsidies means the rest of us will foot more of their bill? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
9. Are you wanting the option for armored plates? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
10. I see it as a Les Miserable gesture, and I suspect it will be a life changing experience for the Lady. At least that is my hope. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

13. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2013/10/florida-cop-buys-100-in-groceries-for-woman-caught-shoplifting-food/   We need to see more of this in the national news!
14. http://buff.ly/1b9dSKS   I hope you good LEOs can do something about this because its officers like these that really, really cause us civilians to grow a deep distrust.  I do not envy your job one bit when there are LEOs like this out there destroying the civilian trust in those who have sworn to protect and serve.

19. I guess we will see how this actually plays out in the SCOTUS because, if discretionary powers were already allocated to funds provided through EPA, while I may not agree, I am not sure how much of a change this is beyond setting a clear direction for how that discretion shall be applied. If, however, this is a clear expansion of EPAs powers beyond what has been legally granted, I am not sure if this is much of a change beyond direction setting. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
20. All I can find, so far, is wild speculation and sky falling alarmism around this executive order without a single example of how this EO could impact funds allocated in bills to states, unless those funds are already distributed through FEMA or the EPA. Both of which, already act under the direction of the Executive Branch. If anybody has any links to articles that show how this EO over reaches powers already granted to the President, please share, because that would do far more to adding to the debate than what I am seeing. 21. Sad that firearm mistakes resulting in negligent discharge is doing more to possibly end gun shows than anything the left has done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
22.
You know that. I know that, but how many in the middle will allow that? Millions. Anyway, he already has absolute control over the entity known as the EPA being the President.
I guess what I am saying is that I don't see him exerting any authority he didn't already have with this. This EO is just him providing clear, public direction to the EPA. There are many things Obama has done that I think may be impeachable over, and most of those have been made public via Snowden's leaks. This isn't one of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
23. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/politics/july-dec13/talev_11-03.html This isnt law. It reads like Obama exerting more control over the EPA, which already is under the executive branch. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2

25. I watch http://gun-deals.com/ and http://www.slickguns.com/today for deals with 22lr. Since my kids love shooting my 22lr pistol and rifle, when we go to the range they can easily go through 300-500 rounds. As a result, I continued to buy up till I had about 3000 rounds (6-8 range trips) sitting around. Every now and then Midway USA or some other site will have boxes of 300+ rounds for sale with a limit of 3-5 boxes making the shipping costs reasonable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
