1.
The original cut of this remake had a more plausible idea of the Chinese being the invaders but the reigning party in China wasn't exactly fond of the idea and raised their concerns with Hollywood and they being the spineless cowards they are took it back to editing to make it where Kim Jong and NK were the enemy.
The remake was changed by the producer, not because china complained, though it may just be semantics. China mentioned they would not let it lease in their country. Since china has become a huge money maker for the studios/producers, they changed it to North Korea. That said, the original ultimately was better, not because of acting, or story (though both are likely a big part), but because the premise was more plausible at the time. The original came out at a time when the Iron wall was till up and Russia was still a black hole in our collective knowledge. Because we didn't understand what Russia could, or could not do, the idea of a Russia backed Cuba invading on one side of the country seemed acceptable and somewhat scary for us. Today, we understand very well what the other countries are capable of, and w As of now, no country, regardless of backing, could pull off an invasion of the USA. Also, even though most TV shows today are darker than most shows in the 80s, the original was definitely darker than the remake. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
2. What twist is your barrel? That will allow you to determine which bullet weight should work best.

1:8 twist, .223 wylde chamber, stainless steel. I have an upper with, what I am told is a lothar walther non-chrome lined barrel, also 1:8 twist that really likes 68 and 69gr OTM ammo with 25gr BL-(c)2 set to 2.255 oal. However, I am with its different chamber (5.56) I am hoping somebody might have some insite.

3. I just bought http://grabagun.com/ccg-expert-16-s-s-5-56-1-30rd.html It was a bit of an impulse buy, but I told myself that if I found one of these or a RRA ATH go on sale for under 1100 I would buy once, cry once, and sell off something else to help make up the difference. So, that said, I noticed that these are guaranteed 1 MOA. If anybody here owns one, what should I realistically expect, and with what kinds of ammo did you use to get that? I would also like to know, from those that hand load, what bullet specs they have had the most success with? EDIT: fixed the link. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
4. Any recommendations on websites for Black Friday deals? I am familiar with some of the usual suspects but was wondering if anyone had a certain "go-to" internet dealer that they were impressed with around this time of year......fire away-

5. This may be a bit overkill, but I usually just use hoppers elite 9 solvent, follow that up with some mild soapy water and then oil it using break free clp or guns ills. But that is mostly for the barrel. I usually just do a clp like gunzilla or break free for the rest.

6. Everybody has bought something for their gun that minutes, hours or days later thought 'why the #%*^ did I buy this,' and why? Mine is the fishbone muzzle break for my ar15. It was for sale on a deal a day site and so I bought it. Now, in the interest of full disclosure, I am using it on one of my uppers but I have no reason to own it. It is heavy, pointy (so I cover it with a heavy plastic baggy while in the case) and it is loud. It does reduce recoil by a lot, but honestly, there is hardly any on my AR as it is. I feel slightly embarrassed every time I shoot it at the range when there is somebody on either side of me as I know they will be getting faces full of back blast. I only paid $20 for it so at least there is that. It was cheap, but so far, it is my stupidest accessory purchase, hands down. http://mogunparts.com/index.php/ar15/guntec/muzzle-attachments/guntec-usa-steel-fishbone-style-muzzle-brake-for-ar-15-223-barrel.html Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
7. Not like I approve of the game in any way , but if you get stuck in the side with something and your not cut or hurt you can shoot them ? Just doesn't seem like the point I would pull my gun and start shooting.

I could be reading to much into it but I suspect it also involved the thuggee looking at his taser wondering what happened, victim pulling his pistol and thuggee going in for a second time a fore getting plugged twice.

8. You can put together a PSA AR15 with free floated, railed tube and Andersen lower for $550. To me, this is probably the best value on the market for an SHTF rifle. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/featured/psa-lower-safe-fire.html http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/featured/ptac-16-1-9-a4-ss12g2-rifle-kit.html If I had the money, I would build one of these for each of my kids. This is a crazy good value. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
