ATF will no longer rule on accessories
my82cam replied to Chucktshoes's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
That was my thought, sounds like a trap. Then again, it's the ATF, the rules are made up and the laws don't matter -
Only if it shoots 3 1/2 inch mags!
-
Dang! 2 weeks is insane. I have no plans for any SBRs in the future, I wouldn't mind an SBS but don't have a good host at the moment.
-
Funny, enough, I bought a conversion kit from him, seems solid but I want to make it permanent before I get it refinished.

Transfer from Texas to my dealer took about 90 days. Started my form back in mid August. Yeah, it is a large pin slab side. Actually, hate that it is a large pin and slab side, but I got what I consider to be a good deal and couldn't pass it up. I am converting it to a small pin that will use the KNS push pin take down, instead of dealing with adapters and such. They suck, I have already played with them enough to know they need to go away. lol

There is no better time to by than now, make it happen soon!

The AC556 is a good option for 556 full auto, can be had around 10-12k right now, but that is all it will ever be. Well, there are some 22 conversions but not sure how good they are. So, how about kill several birds with one stone? If you get a mac m11, there are several uppers ranging from 22, 9mm, 5.56 and a guy is starting to making a 7.62 upper that takes ak-47 mags.
-
Come to the range and shoot some suppressors and sheen guns with me!

It's a converted Colt SP1, I have always wanted an M16 since I was 10! I sold everything, ate Ramen noodles, drank Keystone beer and saved my money up for one. I have a Mac 10, they are a good combo. Sub gun, and carbines. Both have several different uppers and configurations available, which I love. With the rising cost of machine guns, it is hard to drop that much on a gun that can not be converted or changed to anything else.
-
I sure wish they would figure out a quicker way to get form 4s approved faster. I am 3 months in on a "new" machine gun and can not wait to get her in my dirty hands!
-
Just got on there and read requirements. I don't see how people could get approvals in 2 weeks, not with paper sending the finger print cards
-
So, do you paper mail your trust and finger prints? How does that work.

I have a couple 30 cal suppressors, you are welcome to come with me and shoot some. I have some pistol suppressors and a MG. Bring some 9 or 45 an you can shoot the MG as much as you want

Form 1 Suppressor Build
my82cam replied to mwfillmore's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
You do not want to just drill holes in the center, you will never get them centered correctly. You want them chucked up in a lathe, so, all the holes are drilled centered. My 22 can has off set slots in it, not sure how to describe them but I'm sure you have seen them in pictures or person. I have wanted to try to make a can, that looks like a neat set up. Did you buy that as a kit? -
Experience with Osprey 45 on Glock 19?
my82cam replied to Esko 270's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Good, glad it helped! I hate the stock triggers on the glocks. I still have my threaded g22 but manly shoot my HKs now, they do fantastic with a suppressor -
Just make sure your prints are correct and "rolled" onto the card. Just have a friend or witness sign the card as being the person who did it for you.
-
You can get the ATF to send you the finger print cards and buy inkless finger print pads off ebay for $10. Ive done all of mine my self. my MG was approved in 6 months and 1 day, so, it works

Sunfish, sent ya a message, thanks!

It will close on 0.008 but not on 0.016, I made shims from paper.

My uncle gave me his sporter mauser that he used to hunt with when he was younger, the bolt was missing! I got a new bolt for it and it fits great, but I need to check the head spacing. Does anyone have a go-no-go gauge for one of these? want to make sure it is safe to fire before I shoot it. I thought about using some tape between the shell and bolt face, but I don't know how much clearance is supposed to be there, so, making shims isn't likely to tell me much unless someone can tell me the spec! Thanks

message me and ill give you his phone number

Seems like everyone is trying to enter the cab business. I would buy from a known and reputable company with great customer service. Thunder beast is awesome. When I’m buying a product that I’m most likely buying for life, save up and spend a little more on it. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Experience with Osprey 45 on Glock 19?
my82cam replied to Esko 270's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I don’t know the weight, but I tried a new spring with ss rod and it didn’t help me. The only thing that helped was going back to the factory trigger. I kept my g22 just to have a 40 host but i can’t run any trigger but the factory. I doubted my gunsmith buddy when he told me to switch back, he was correct though. -

Sorry, to answer your question...do you have a trigger kit in it or is it factory? I had the same issue with both of my glocks when they had lone wolfs and ghost trigger kits. I put the factory triggers back in them and they cycled fine after that. As long as it’s oiled up good.
