  1. I’ve been wanting to get more formal training and be more proficient with a handgun. I go to the range and shoot and can hit targets, but want to do more Training than just standing and hitting paper. Anyone have a recommendation on who in the hendersonville area does that? I thought about guns and leather, I’ve signed up before but they never called me to come to the classes, kind of put a bad taste in my mouth.
  2. FYI mine is full auto and I know nothing about semi autos in closed bolt. I assume yours is full auto?
  3. I have 2 lage uppers for my m10, best upgrades possible. Buy them and don’t look back. Takes it from a bullet hose to a useable weapon you can actually hit stuff with. I have the 10/9 and the max 31 upper. I bought a bunch of suomi drums and coffin mags off gunbroker. Be prepared to spend some money on mags, as price has increased on those mags since Lage came up with these uppers. I have a bunch of these mags and really only use a couple. If you buy an upper, hit me up and I’ll see about selling you 1.
  4. I just waited 18 month for 2 stamps. Ridiculous. Anything has to be better than what they are doing now.
  5. So, I have the hardest time posting pictures on TGO. I have never really figured it out, so, I just dont bother. I have plenty of pictures in my wallet her them!
  6. Sweet! I’ve got a Mac m10 and a colt m16, there’s just something about a sheen gun that makes you smile!
  7. I have an Octane 45 and love it. I use it on my HK45 tactical, and my 9mm machine gun. Even with supers, the 9mm is hearing safe mag dump after mag dump. Is it as quiet? Nope. does it do its job, yup. Would I buy a dedicated 9mm can? Probably not, but the 45 works on so much stuff. I even use it on my 357 SBR but only to shoot 38s. Fun little gun. Enjoy the 9 can, play with it, and you'll find something to make ya happy
  8. Eh, I kind of went down this route. Ditched the 9mm and only shoot 45s now. No regrets. I would fine that most 9mm would be subsonic but several were supers. I didn't like the inconsistency of it and just went 45.
  9. Yes, I have and they have been much needed over this 18 month wait time! I’d post a video here but clueless how to do that. My favorite is shooting my Mac m10 and the m16 at the same time for a mag dump
  10. Oh, I’ve shot it a lot, she’s flawless. A “deal” came up on this and it was the exact amount I had saved. Seemed like. Sign so I bought my dream rifle. Ever since I was a young teen I’ve wanted an m16. Stupid excited it’s finally here. Wonder how long until the stamp comes in
  11. It’s a converted Colt sp1. I was too poor to get a Colt with m16 stamped on it . I had a small pin conversion done to it and anodized black instead of the colt grey.
  12. Update again: my stamp is approved for my m16!!!!!!!!! I'm so freaking happy!!! The stamp hasn't arrived at my dealer yet, but ATF said it is approved!
  13. Thank you for the pointers. I wasn't really sure where to start but now I have a direction!
  14. I wonder who I would reach out to in Hendersonville/Nashville? I have never stirred the pot nor had a need to write to them. It sounds like it is worth a shot.
  15. Update, still not approved....13.5 months on the form 4 and the form 3 took 4 months. 17.5 months into this thing. blah
  16. I forgot to mention the 4-5 month wait time it took for the items to transfer to my dealer from out of state. If it wasn’t my dream gun, it wouldn’t be so bad.
  17. I typically file for my stamps and forget about them. When I get the call from my dealer, it is like Christmas time. Well, I have 2 stamps that have been pending since mid august 2018, and I can not wait for them to be approved. I called the other day to check, I was told the average time was 9 months but call back in another 4 weeks and they may be approved. 4 more weeks would put me over 12 months. All I want is permission from the crown to take my items home that I paid to have! Efile form 1s are at 30ish days...get it together with the form 4s, please!
  18. I ordered a tube from BCM......Thanks guys
  19. I went to assemble my new barrel, so, I can shoot her this weekend, I figured out that it is a mid length gas system and my carbine tube is too short. Anytime in the Hendersonville/Madison area have one to sell me or know where I can by one nearby?
  20. Sounds like over engineering to me. I want to know more detail about the design and purposes though
  21. I misread that, thought the numbers said 140, missed the sub. Still doesn't change my mind, moving parts to accomplish the same thing my can does.
  22. My Thunder Beast Ultra 7 is in the 130s with no moving parts. This thing is ugly as can be and is only in the 140s. Who cares how many thousands of rounds they did in an entire week at SHOT, how about a couple of belt dumps with a temp gun for an actually test that would show something.
  23. Lame. It looks like a drill press.
  24. It's magic! Seriously, I can't explain how, but the aftermarket trigger stops it from going into battery all the way. Maybe the weight of the suppressor hanging on the barrel, mixed with different spring pressure is the issue? I put hundreds of rounds through mine and it never worked.
