    Kel Tec Question

i've heard a lot of good stuff about them. about the only bad thing is it has a long hard trigger pull.
  3. great idea...i did the same thing with a fobus holster for my g27 in my truck. works great!!
  4. great find...i just picked up a winchester 94 30/30 and i'm looking forward to the same thing!
  5. i also have an old official police, i believe it was made in the '30s but im not sure the exact date. but that is one of my favorite revolvers to shoot at the range. i would say as long as the revolver looks ok and no problems noted, i would try it. let us know how it goes
  6. i agree...just go buy a box of winchester white box and see what happens....if you decide to shoot the gun. i have a double 12 parkhurst from my grandpa that was made in 1895. it has a crack in the stock so i wont shoot it because i dont want it to get worse.
  7. i just bought 3 stripped lowers...i sure hope i can keep each one under $1,000.. JNT at the shows have complete kits starting around 450ish. are you planning on doing something like that?
  8. thats what i was thinking

    First AR-15 M4

i would get a red dot for it, i love mine!! you can get one at the gun show for about $40-60
  10. i grab my 700 bdl dm with leupold scope on her...30/06 is a great round!! if mad weather i grab an old mosin nagant i put a scope on, still a great gun and dont care if it gets scratched!
  11. looks like fun!
  12. how about $20? could I look at it in person??
  13. yea, i can see where the pin has hit it. i may just try some different ammo and if that doesnt work....i could always throw it at the target:)
  14. i've got a smith model 36 but i dont want to ruin in! it was my grandfather's gun. so far the 27 seems ok...but time will tell
  15. i bought it used with apprx 1500 through it, i have put about 500 through it useing reminton yellow jackets. i havent really tried different ammo but shooting that same box in my other .22 shoots fine...so i'm really thinking its the gun. i dont think it is a ramp issue because it feeds fine...just click...no bang
  16. that would be like building a stripped lower for a m16?
  17. lol good point i guess it is to late. i like the plant option!
  18. i just bought an ankle holster for my Glock 27...does anyone have anything good or bad to say for this. i carry a 23 on the belt in a bianchi accu lock(awesome, i have 3 and love them) but i have found it somewhat slow to get out but great to conceal. any thought?
  19. i would like to get an m-16 for the fun of it...i have a couple AR-15s. is it possible just to get a lower for a m-16 and put whatever upper i want on it or do i have to buy the gun complete?
  20. i got a stackon from Dicks. waterproof and fireproof. lots of room in the safe....can hold up to 28 long guns. normally they are 700, but they had a sale down to 599 plus if you sign up for a credit card they will take $20 off. so i got it for 579, not a bad deal, a lot better than i found at academy or basspro.
  21. i have a smith 22S target pistol....it seems as if every 5th round is a no fire...someone had told me the recoil rod and buffer are worn out. that doesnt seem to make a lot of sense to me...does anyone have any good info on this...or bad info? lol
