what is the big difference between a ak47 and a ak74? I heard a 74 has a few updated features like the gas block and a different support for the barrel but is it as good as a 47 or better? i'm looking at a ak74 in .223. i was wondering if the ak can feed the .223 very well, have heard they may have trouble feeding a small round like that. any ideas or comment on this? will ak-47 mags and other acc. fit it? thanks!

i carry a G27 on my ankle while in church...not even my wife knows i carry it! she gets mad at me and says " why dont you just leave that at home!" i tell her if she can tell me when and where i will need it, i will only carry it than....she has stopped telling me to leave it at home but she would not approve of it at church. i do feel a sense of security by carrying it and know that there are others in the church that want at least one of us to carry in church. i think the dont ask, dont tell is the best way. unless you can afford private security.

I have an old George H Daw 7 shot BP double action revolver oct. barrel with display case and all hardware to go with it, gun is in good-great shape. can anyone give me any information on this gun as to why they are so expensive??

my neighbor is a po p and he runs the numbers for me all the time...works out great. he also gave me a ton of ar mags!!!

to me...a 30 30 has less kick than a 308...but a great all around gun is a .243 if you think that is to small than i would think of a 30 30. there is ony for sale on here right now for 175 with a scope. not a bad deal

Does anybody have any old winchester rifles that they arent affraid to shoot? i have an old model 92 and a couple 94's that are great to shoot...anybody else break'em out of the cabinet to shoot? if so...any pictures??

I think i'm the only one in my church that does...although one of the onther guys and i were talking...he wants to put a sniper platform in the top of the church...i said i would trade my nursery duty for sniper duty!

i do not believe they covered this in my class.....is it legal to carry my handgun at church?? i know it is ok in kentucky, but i do not know about tn, does anyone know?

there are a lot of stories about people getting harrassed by the cops for having their weapon where everyone can see it...i always keep mine hidden!!!!

i would go to a gun store and hold a glock 23 or 27 and then hold a xd and see what fits your hand better. i dont like the xds, they dont fit my hand very well. but the glocks are just right. so, i would say it depends and go with what fits the best

i dont think you can go wrong with whatever you buy...they are all fun!

well, i went out and bought some CCI mini-mag and it shot fine, no dead ones. so, maybe that other ammo is bad, but that doesnt explane why it fired in the browning .22 fine. i guess this gun just likes cci
