  1. I have done 3 form 1s since january 1, all have taken 25-35 days. I even got denied on 1 for sending in the blank side of the paper work, always double check! lol
  2. You can always form 1 your own suppressors, last 1 I did only took 3-4 weeks.
  3. That's what is so frustrating about all this. I have done this literally a dozen times, no issues until now. I either did it wrong all those other times and got lucky, or an examiner was having a bad day when he got to my form?? Sucks to wait all that time and then find out its a no go
  4. Yes, I am making a clone of an MP5. When you use MFI as the line code, it gives a drop down of all the options of models and such that have already been approved and used by other people who have made their own. I really don't know what happened.
  5. I am going to build an MP5, bend my own receiver and make it from scratch. The first form 1 was denied because I accidentally scanned the blank side of a form instead of the front side, that was my bad! lol I filed a second time and made sure all the forms were correctly scanned and double checked my documents before I sent it in, all was good. I am no noob to this, but I am not above making a mistake, see above! So, 8 weeks go by and I get an email saying I was denied because my manufacturer address was not correct. I selected MFI(manufactured form 1) and used the drop down to select MP5 as the model. If I am the manufacturer, there is no address to have in box 4A, there is also no place on the Eform1 to put an address as the manufacturer if you use MFI. I have checked over and compared it to my other approved forms and can find no faults. All of my responsible person forms had my trust and address as the maker of the SBR as well, which is exactly how I have down all the other items I have form1. My thought is I did everything correctly but the examiner saw the MP5 listed as the model and thought I should have HK and their address listed in box 4A? I called the ATF and they are no help. I believe emailing an "expert" and asking them is a waste of time because I am still waiting on a response from a question I had in January. Should I submit again with all the same info, or for a model put N/A? Appreciate the help and Pew pew on!
  6. I know a lot of people that do that and have never had an issue, they also keep a copy of their trust downloaded on their phone too.
  7. I don’t see why there would be an issue posting them up for sale. They are legal to own and sell. Email me details. I love machine guns, if I don’t want them, I may know people who do.
  8. I have 2 of the trannies in those pictures
  9. Wishful thinking, but doubt it happens. Let's say they do another amnesty, what weapons would be allowed? Any ar15 or modern sporting rifle or military bring backs only?
  10. What is brass going for these days? I have a 5 gl jug full of 5.56 and 1 full of 7.62. Thinking of selling it but was looking to see what a fair price is first. Thanks guys
  11. Anytime you wanna shoot, ive got a M10 and M16, come on over
  12. Lage really makes some top notch stuff. I have 2 of their uppers and really enjoy them! You still have your M11? I see you said "enjoyed"
  13. Since he is on my trust and the atf knows where it is, it will be allowed to stay at his place.
  14. To clarify, he purchased the M10 but it's going on my trust
  15. Well, got another one! Took my dad out shooting, after shooting the mac m10 and the colt M16, he is hooked. We shot Saturday, and by monday night I had found and purchased him a like new mac m10. He decided on the M10, because he can just use all of my accessories and uppers that I have accumulated for mine over the years. I also have a new upper in the works for this thing. As basic as the macs are, they have become a transferable sear pack. At 1/3 the price of a trany m16, they have really become a hot item. There is just something about that full auto experience and I love letting people shoot them.
  16. I would just go with an adjustable gas block. I doubt a heavier buffer would fix all the issues.
  17. oh, I have videos but I can't post them here. I am not smart enough to post on TGO lol PM me your phone number and Ill txt them to you
  18. If you don't do something to cut the gas back while suppressed, you will beat your gun up. I run 10.5 with an AAC M4-2000 can on an M16, if I don't cut the gas back, it cycles at twice the normal speed.
  19. Thankfully, it was approved about 2 weeks after I made this post. I have been finger banging her every night.
  20. If your kids really don’t want it, find someone at a local range or a friend that is getting into guns, give it to them and make their day. They will still have to pay for the stamp, the can lives on and your boys won’t have to deal with it.
  21. I would pay you $50 for it, we can do a form 4. You hold the can until the form clears and then I can come get it later. If I were you, I would just keep the can. Your boys may decide they want it down the road one day
  22. Exactly. My thought is this, I can form 1 and make my own 22 can for less than $100 in parts. There just isn't much of a market for used 22 cans that the manufacturer has gone out of business.
  23. What brand suppressor is it? I’m looking for a second 22 suppressor. How many rounds, roughly, has it seen? Used it a couple times and like new, or is it worn out? Lol
  24. Glad to know I’m not the only one that has had more 458 stuck cases than all other calibers combined!
  25. Thanks for that. I have been here forever and never even noticed we had a tactics and training section. That class is exactly what I am looking to do, but is a little far away for me. Probably worth it, but makes it a lot harder to go. I may post something up in tactics and training too
