  1. Trim any time you want/need to. Best time is after the first frost, they are preparing for winter at that time. Especially fruits and flowering growths.

  13. Multi tool or Kershaw Clash. The Clash is one tough knife, inexpensive also.

  15. Either, both are good pistols. The 1911 will be easier to mod while the 9mm will be cheaper to shoot so go with either.
  16. Some basic firearms training first then narrow down his choices for what he needs and more training. Best I can offer.

  18. 9mm. Fun round in any 1911. The original 1909 (I believe) was chambered in 38 ACP.

  20. After 10 years I am now the third oldest at where I work. Be 63 near the end of September.
  21. Never had a problem with them.
  22. I will shoot it thru all my guns in that caliber so I know it works in all.
  23. Got Windows 10 upgrade on the 29th. Not sure about it yet. Got some kinks to work out I think.
  24. I have 2 brands of 1911s with ambi safties. 2 RIA in 9mm and a Sig in 9mm. Never had trouble with either slipping off safe or being a weak link. Just my experience with factory ambi safties.
