  1. For the GLOCks I would definitely go with a holster. I carry a G23 or G27 in either IWB or JIT slide, both by Don Hume. The slide fits both but the IWB are model specific.
  2. The tip is rendered for service not for the food. Some places they share the tip.

No one can tell you what will work for you but others can give some idea of quality and reliability. Find a gun shop that rents guns and handle as many as turn you on then fire some rounds down range and see what works for you and good luck in your search.
  4. I don't really care for post counts, doesn't matter to me and I do like some of the old post coming back alive, it can get interesting. The real deal is this is not a sale/trade/buy forum, that is just a bonus for everyone. Kick back and make some interesting posts and let the post count fall where it may.

  6. Howdy again Charlie and Welcome again to TGO! :D
  7. Somehow from your typing I thought you would be taller!
  8. Even with military or other type training each situation is different and the way you act/react to it will be different. Even a lot of folks who have been in the military or LEO jobs have never pulled the trigger on another person(s). And yes living with it afterwards especially if someone dies will be the hard part.

  13. Very nice, indeed!
  14. It is a way for older folks or maybe folks with some light disabilities to serve their state, county and local communities. You don't have to run, jump or shoot to a standard. I am not a memeber but it may be something for some people to do.
  15. I have never been called for jury duty but my wife has three times and she is not a American citizen! Of course she did not serve once it was explained to the court.
  16. It would not be seconds same as their firearms are not made cheaper for the marts. Think of the liability problems they and the ammo/firearms companies would have if it did not meet all standard specifications from SAMMI. The way they get anything cheaper is by buying in large lots.

  18. They also do things like help TEMA and other agencies that need additional personnel to perform community services in time of emergencies.
  19. That's a good looking finish!

  22. Yep the anti's will not back off no matter how nice the 2A folks are to them. Time to get in their face and let them know we are serious! Go Ted, go!
  23. The reason I reload is to make the best ammo I can for the least money. I have settled on a very good 40 S&W load. I use various brass and primers with either Rainier or Berry plated (heavy) 165gr hollow points and 7.5gr of Longshot powder. These are clean, accurate rounds that I believe will expand better than jacketed rounds but still have the power to penetrate. I believe they will do what I need but then so will most ammo. Don't get caught up in the best ammo because different test will show different results on each brand/type, any good brand should work. No one shot stops everytime!
