  1. A carry belt is almost a have to have item for an OWB or IWB holster. If you get one get a good one that is made for holster carry. It makes a lot of difference. A IWB belt does not need to be quite as heavy duty as a OWB because the pants help hold the holster but a good one will be a lot more comfortable than cheap one.
  2. Indoors I use foam plugs and muffs, outdoors I use foam plugs. Good foam plugs will conform to the ear canal and give very good protection if inserted properly.
  3. Watch yourself if he comes back, may be two and not just one person. Glad it turned out okay for you.
  4. Don't give up anything! The laws now, if enforced are more than enough for law abiding citizens. The criminals will never conform to the laws but it does interfere with the average, law abiding citizen.
  5. Comply with what she/they want and if you have any disagreement go to the top and make a complaint. Do not get her/them mad at you, do not argue, use the laws because they can make it hard for you to keep your daughter.

  9. I haven't tried a MTAC, but I do carrye a G23 and G27 in Don Hume IWB or JIT slide and like them. I carry the IWB cross draw mostly. This works for me you may wish something different. It seems everyone has to go thru the selection process before finding their own style. Get a big box for the ones that don't work!
  10. The .17 rimfires and the 22 WMR are jacketed rounds while the 22lr is lead or copper coated. The jacketed rounds will sometimes go thru without killing immediately, less expansion. Not saying they are bad just have to have a killing hit for hunting or you will lose game. The .17 are very accurate, much more so than the 22's but I like the 22's especially the 22lr better for hunting myself, just personnal probably because it is what I grew up with.
  11. Probably the most accurate rimfires but I like the 22's better for hunting.
  12. As far as I know it is open 7 days a week from 12 noon til sunset. That info is six months old but I believe accurate. Info on ranges is on the Tennessee Fishing and Wildlife web site. The price is $5.50 for 2 hours and you purchase a pass from the small stores near Cheatham Wildlife Area. There is also a wardens office just down the road from the range, a archery range and camp site.
  13. IDIOTS will be IDIOTS!
  14. The mags are interchangeable. As for barrel price and what is involved check out the Glock Store, Glockmeister and Lone Wolf Barrels. Also GLOCK FORUM.
  15. I have Charter Cable and there is a special Marksmanship Show on the History Channel now (8:00 PM CST). Anyone else watching? Very interesting show with people like Tom Knapp, Jerry Miculek and many others. Saw an amazing bow shot, one arrow right into the rear of another. Great show!
  16. They really show their stuff in a good bolt action rifle. CZ makes some very good rifles for these rounds but they may not be the best rounds for everyone. I had one of each but went back to the 22lr and 22WMR. The conversion of the 10/22 can be iffy sometimes and cause the rifle to start to extract too soon if not converted properly.
  17. It ain't over til it's over. Obama might want to watch about stepping off any curbs without looking both ways twice.
  18. Two GLOCks, 23 and 27 and a Hi-Point Carbine in 40 S&W plus others. The GLOCKs back up each other plus the carbine uses the same ammo and like I said plus others.
  19. It does seem that cities are going down hill. Nashville at one time was a very friendly city, now certain parts are. Always be aware of your surroundings. Wish it could have been a better visit for you and your daughter.

  24. I can not carry at work and at times find myself adjusting my firearm when it's not there!

Guns & Leather has a very nice setup for testing handguns. They rent guns and have a nice range facility.
