How long before loaded mags' springs fail?

The wear and tear on magazine springs is done during compression and release not very much during compression and none if left extended. When one mag starts giving problems that is the time to start replacing springs. I have left pistol magazines loaded for 13 months with no problems what so ever. -

I have a 37 inch waist and buy 38 inch trousers so I have room to stick something extra in my waistband. I find the Don Hume IWB comfortable but I like my clothing loose.

Try to shoot them before making a final decision, small is nice but recoil can raise its ugly head on smaller handguns. I shoot Glocks in 40 S&W (G23/G27) and find them both very controllable and comfortable to shoot. Good luck on you purchase.

It seems you made most of the good points. I was once the type who did not want a plastic handgun nor a Glock. I finally came around and picked up a G23 and after having it for a little while I then got a G27 and have been happy with them. Got to be happy with your guns!

I have 2 Glocks, G23 (compact) and G27 (sub-compact). The G27 gets carried a lot more but both conceal well and do what they are suppose to do. For a utility handgun they meet my standards. Go for what feels good to you and that you feel comfortable with.

If your hands are any size then the mag extensions are a great add-on. I have a G27 and love it.

It's great for spraying inside a wet distributor cap and cleaning off stickum from labels but I will not use as a lube for most things. Gun oil for guns. -
