  1. I like my SIG 239 best out of a CZ, Glock, XD/XDm. All in 40 S&W and even though the 239 is a single stack it seems to be the best for me.
  2. I am going to try for Saturday morning if the crick don't rise and the flesh is willing!

  8. Plastic food boxes. Quart, 1/2 quart and gallon sizes then put in heavy duty plastic bags for the range.

  10. Good report and glad you are happy with it!

  13. Practice some then practice more but don't over do it to where it becomes work. Actually pretty good for the first time.
  14. Go where people are shooting and your liable to get shot!
  15. Howdy and Welcome to TGO MSCS is really nice, the pistol range is covered which helps when the sun is out. Nice place for skeet, trap, rifle and pistols. Prices are very reasonable, $5 for basic ranges plus $4 for a round of skeet.
  16. Small size does not make it easier to fire accurately. I like the SIG 239, cost less than MSRP, holds 8 rounds of 9mm or 7 rounds of 40 S&W. Anything much smaller and it is too small to handle safely for me.
  17. Pretty good job for a first timer. Hope she gets her carry permit. Good job!
  18. Check out the SIG P239-40-TSS. Single stack (7+1), nite sights, good size for carry, needs new grips (Hogue wrap arounds on mine) and extra mags. Accurate, reliable, between most compacts and sub-compacts in size. SA/DA with decocker and bob'd hammer. Around $730 to $780 most places.
  19. Queation I have is why should I have to pay for somene else insurance? The government health care will require that I pay for others and pay a lot. The government has a bad track record for running or trying to run any type of company.

  23. Most hard cast bullets I have used suggest they be kept below 1,000 FPS. Plated below 1,200 FPS. Lead is fun and cheap if they are cast properly.
  24. A fart thread! What caliber would you say it was? New or mil-surp? Was it a reload? Did it have a Glock?
