    If we give away cities after awhile there will be none left. Let's work to improve our cities and run the politicians out of state. Need less laws and more proper enforcement of the ones we have, it is our right as citizens to "Keep and Bear Arms".

    The slide did not lock back on empty mags. When he reloaded he had to pull the slide back to chamber a round. Looks like he has a good start on shooting sports, seemed pretty darn safe and handled the recoil well. What caliber was it? Looked like a 45 ACP to me. The gun was set up well for him.

    I really do not change that much. I carry either IWB or OWB. IWB may be strong side or cross draw (especially driving), OWB is strong side.

    Something I have started using and like extremely well is Tetra Gun Lubricant. Looks similar to old ARMY issued LSA. Works very well for me.

    Cograts on a great wife. I never liked 1911 models, the ARMY ruined me on 1911's and the 46 ACP. I really think most go thru this process of finding "our" firearm and caliber. Just work with it for awhile before doing any thing and see where your interest lie. Be safe and have fun.
