  1. Sometimes had to hand prime the pump. I was always told sulphur water was good for you. If it was mild not too bad but some was strong as could be.
  2. For 38 super I would buy new brass and load it. Some other calibers I would buy loaded (new) ammo or range brass.
  3. Funny but good parenting. Good for you and the better half!
  4. Old saying "Hope for the Best but Prepare for the Worst"!
  5. Good as they come for hunting and some range time.
  6. Some folks have no idea what they are talking about! Idiots abound on the internet.
  7. Always be prepared for the time of crap!

Here in Clarksville, 6:30 pm, it is doing something wet. Streets are shiny, maybe wet or ice, but I am not getting out on them. Feels cold outside but not super cold right now.

Heat pumps not really made for these cold temps. Split units are usually needed to keep warm. May the warmth be with you!

Here in Clarksville, 2:22 pm it is 17 degrees F. Electricity has gone out a bunch of times this morning, just briefly. Going to be cold tonight and for the next couple of days. Right now the sun is shining but who really knows the future. Take care and stay warm folks!
  12. A less expensive but good barrel is E.R.Shaw or Green Mountain. BX trigger or Kidd trigger kit. A good stock that will fit. A decent scope. I like Bushnell's Rimfire 3-9X40 with range reticle, non-illuminated. For range use a bipod, I use Caldwell's 6-9" pivot type and it works well for me. Magazines, 10-15 -25 rounders make kids happy. Lots of ammo!

Retired and too cold for me to get out and shoot. Please warm up!
  14. Went from military to industrial maintenance. Went to a TCAT for training, military paid for it (benefits). After years I was making good money doing something I liked. Now just retired.
  15. I like 3 MOA with the ability to brighten or reduce.
  16. As long as they chamber in your tightest chamber then they are good to go. Unless you are competing then they don't have to be perfect.
  17. Ruger 10/22 for semi auto and Savage for bolt gun. Both good inexpensive rifles.
  18. Actually, it was Burbits who lead the design team for Glock, and quite a few other brands. Glock made the good decision to hire him.
  19. Actually, getting an expert to do it is smart!
  20. How would you conceal that thing?
  21. Retarded!
  22. I don't hate Christmas just what it has turned into these days.
  23. It is bad that the holidays are for selling these days instead for family and friends.
  24. Pistols usually do less damage because people miss the target!
  25. Touch downs all around me but nothing at my house except rain and some wind. Saw today where it hit and power line down, power poles broken off, buildings smashed, and vehicles smashed and one on its roof and almost in Ft. Campbell Blvd. In winter (December/January) if it gets over 50 degrees F for two days here it means bad storms/tornados.
