    Howdy Rex and Wellcome to TGO Not much help on 380's, only one I have had was a Bersa Thunder 380, good gun. I have and like the Browning Buckmark pistols, mine is a semi target model.

    40 S&W Magnus 165gr bullets, 7.5gr of Longshot powder, CCI #500 SPP, R-P brass. Works well for me.

    Sounds like the springs. Sometimes the springs are not quite right, I woud go back to the original springs and see if it cures the problems. Good luck.

    Check the old springs to the new ones and see if there is a difference between them besides a very slight difference in length.
