  1. Howdy Laura and Welcome to TGO Practice of the safety rules and learning you firearm is of upmost importance. Have fun and be safe!
  2. From what I have seen and heard I would vote for a Cain/West-West/Cain ticket before any other team I could think of!
  3. Congrats! Sounds like a good deal to me. I don't know about that model but do use 175gr LSWC's in my stock G22 and G20SF, no problems.

  11. DMark, actually it is very mild in recoil out of the G20SF. I have found that IMR 800-X is a mild recoiling powder from the Glock.
  12. Howdy and Welcome to TGO Try as many as possible, shooting them will tell if the recoil is a bit much.

  14. My wife uses a cheap chocolate laxative and put it in their holes, either kills them or runs them off.
  15. Howdy and Welcome to TGO Everybody should have at least one mil-surp.
  16. Found a new favorite 10mm hand load, don't do this at home since it is over the max loading posted on Hodgdons web site. Nosler 200gr JHP 8.0gr IMR 800-X powder (max is 7.8gr which is not bad) Starline brass CCI #300 primer Glock 20SF No signs of over pressure at all, good recoil. Barks a little bit, would probably bite too if you caught it.
  17. Fry them up well done!
  18. Congrats and luck! Gen3 RTF G22 is one of my favorite pistols. Got to love the G22.

  20. I have had two stock 10/22's that indented the chamber area when dry fired so yes they may have this danage. Not all do but some may.
  21. A couple of items, clean the gun and lube. Make sure it operates properly by hand. Check the area around the chamber for firing pin indentations, this will mess up operation. You can bevel the rear edge of the bolt, where it rides over the hammer to make smoother operation, if you are very mechanical. Also check the v-block that holds the barrel to the receiver to make sure the barrel is aligned correctly. RimFire Central may have some answers for you. WWW.RIMFIRECENTRAL.COM
  22. Howdy and Welcome to TGO Congrats on your new gun.
  23. The only jacketed 22lr bullet I have knowledge of was a military survival round, expensive to produce. 40gr is about it for any amount of range for the 22lr, heavier and it is a very short range round. If you want heavier and jacketed then go 22mag.
  24. Howdy Dee and Welcome to TGO Congrats on taking the class. G27 is a fine sub-compact. Carry safely and responsibly.
