  1. Use to call them "TOP" because they were the top NCO in the unit not a childs toy. Used with respect I saw nothing wrong with it.
  2. Congrats! The family that shoots together has good interlocking fields of fire!
  3. Howdy to both you and your husband and Welcome to TGO Beauty of form and function is a rare thing and in my opinion comes together in quite a few firearms.
  4. Howdy Jeff and Welcome to TGO
  5. A free rifle is a free rifle. Go with what you get!
  6. Howdy Jeremy and Welcome to TGO Lots of good folks and info floating around here.
  7. Not much on TV or at the movies I want to see anymore. Just being an old guy!
  8. For prepped brass I use large closeable containers such as ice cream, coffee or large tubs of butter comes in (cleaned of course). For loaded ammo I use plastic storage bins that have good locks on them, get them at Wal-Mart/Big Lots. Brass if stored in a good sealable container will last quite awhile before needing cleaned again.
  9. We will be glad to have ya'll. Now be safe on the trip here!

  13. Possible to do with most semi auto pistols but not something to do since on Glocks and many other it can damage the extractor.
  14. Global climate change is a on going thing. Happens to active planets. Once it stops is the time to worry really hard.
  15. I feel like I should remember when that happened!
  16. Worked outside on an industrial propane system today. So hot my shadow stayed in the shade.
  17. When in fear, When in doubt, Run in circles, Scream and shout! Does about as much good as anything! Unknown but I like it.
  18. Strip mall by railroad tracks on Tiny Town road. Nice store, I have stopped by. Good luck to you.
  19. IWB can be comfortable if done correctly. I have a couple of Don Hume leather 715 series holsters, inexpensive but works well for my G22 and G20. I do like a t-shirt/under shirt between me and the gun. Also have a Galco Titan kydex for the G22, it has a slightly bigger footprint than the Hume.
  20. Another I like is SnS Casting 175gr LSWC with 7.0gr of Longshot. Nice, accurate round plus seem pretty powerful for target use but works well from my G22. I like R-P brass for 40 S&W and standard CCI primers for SPP and LPP use.
  21. Howdy Chad and Welcome to TGO
  22. I use my chamber to set my crimp and overall length, length usually come to 1.125". If it falls in and out just barely on its own they are good to go. I would try a couple and look at the brass especially the primer for signs of over pressure, not a for sure sign but may show something. Over crimp, in my opinion, will also cause accuracy problems. Does in my Glock 22. I like Longshot powder for the 40 S&W myself, good accuracy and clean but only does med to higher level loads, not good for mild. Do indeed let us know how it goes.
  23. Howdy Burgam and Welcome to TGO Lots of good info and folks on the forum.
  24. The government should be limited in this not given free rein. We need change and we need it now!
  25. Looks almost like it was cut instead of torn. Interesting failure.
