I chose the G22 because of its size. Fis me like a glove and had run great from minute one. If it fits a G23 is a good choice.

Good gun belts cost money just like a good holster. Find a good set-up now and use it for years or go with less quality and spend more over time. Just my experience.

If available use hot water, maybe soapy hot water. If water is not available then one of the best ways is Ballistol. For range cleaning mix one part Ballistol and 9 parts water and the best way I have is use a spray bottle. Spray down the inside of the chamber and bore, wet a patch and clean the bore. Use the wetted patch to wipe down the bolt face. Dry and clean as with any firearm. The Ballistol and water mix lifts and removes the corrosive salts that makes the primer, not ammo per se, corrosive. I have used this method for many years and it works well for me.

For 40 S&W I like R-P and for 10mm I like Starline.

You can do so up to 6 months before it expires. I just went in and told them I wished to renew my HCP at 6 months out, I did not have any paperwork. Was no problems.

I changed from revolvers quite a few years ago for a couple of reasons. The semi auto pistol has less recoil for power, easier to reload, holds more rounds in most full/standard sizes and for me I get a better grip especially with my Glock 22 Gen3 RTF2. Nothing wrong with revolvers and nothing wrong with semi autos.
