  6. I remember as a kid going down to Western Auto to buy 22lr and a rifle. No questions asked.
  7. I clean mine first to protect the dies.
  8. One of those love your country but fear the government deals!
  9. Eric if you can get the reloading kit I can spot you some components.
  10. Just know your firearm and a little practice. Easy to pass both shooting and info part. Have fun and be careful. :)

  12. I believe Eric you are the guy I gave some ammo to at TN. Gun Country?   If you shot it, how did it shoot?   It was made on a Lee Anniversary Kit I got 8 or 9 years ago.   For the least expensive way to start a kit like the Lee single stage, calipers, dies, tumbler and components.   For 9mm I find a case lube makes cases so much easier to deprime/resize and is worth it.   Used brass can quite often be purchased at ranges/gun stores.

  14. I leave mine loaded but they don't stay that way very long! My carry ammo stays loaded for around six months to a year before rotation.

  16. A small screw clamp helps to remove the base plate the first time. Seems to get easier after that for me.

  19. Always use ear and eye protection when you can. Only one set of eyes and hearing can not be replaced.

  22. Try it and let us know how it works out for you!
  23. Congrats !!!
  24. I started with the Lee Anniversary Kit about 9 or 10 years ago and still use it. I only do straightwall pistol but it has worked out well for me. Add dies, 6 inch caliper, case cleaner and components and you come in around $225 to $250. There are other kits out there but most seem to start at a $100 or more. Also add a reloading manual or two.
