  1. Bet they sell as many as they can make!
  2. Got a gen5 Glock 19 and it is hard to rack the slide. I figure some rounds thru it will loosen it up some..
  3. I hope all of you are kidding because y'all scare me!
  4. Went by today and they have a pretty good selection in right now. Stoeger, Glock, S&W, XD's, Taurus and a few more brands. They have 380 acp, 9mm and 40cal pistols with a few .45 acp thrown in. Not many of each but more than I have seen recently. They also have some good prices on most.
  5. Sent my CZ75B Compact barrel about 10 days ago to get it refinished in CP II. Got it back today and it is very nicely done. $70 total for shipping both ways, insurance both ways ($200) and work done. I would use them again for firearms refinishing work. If any questions contact Brad Cummings at CCR in Greeneville, TN. Sorry folks I don't do pictures.

  6. I have a Taurus G3 that would be a good one I think and they have come out with a G3C that may work. Nice easy trigger with good reach and easy to rack slide. It is really going to depend on the person who will use the pistol.
  7. Some folks are just not made to be on social media!
  8. Don't use the decocker and it will be fine. Never had the decocker accidently activate.
  9. Well she has a ways to go but she is only 7 and a small female, still kicks the butt of a lot of folks I have seen post videos of shooting. At least she didn't get Glock leg!!!!
  10. Mostly it is movement, noise and smell that gives the hunter away.
  11. the .375 is a good woods hunting round. Nice rifles and pistol!
  12. For a defensive handgun make sure it can do at least 200 rounds of your preferred ammo without any problems. The new marksman's barrel do seem to be pretty accurate. I have a G48 and it is the best shooting Glock I have owned.
  13. Hands are so small she needs two fingers on the trigger. I do not see how she can shoot that well when some of the firearms are almost as big as she is but she does.
  14. Muzzle protector used between shoots.
  15. I carry a semi auto and one extra mag. Never heard anyone who was in a gun fight say they wished they had less ammo!
  16. I get that same look even after all the years!

    Taurus G3

Trigger itself and pull is better.

Look at the new G3C, the new compact model. Glock style sights, better finish, better trigger and overall a better pistol.

I have 2 and both are great pistols. One is a black slide and the other is the stainless slide. Over 4,500 rounds thru the black one and around 2,800 thru the stainless.
  20. Not had a problem with the mags or inconsistent trigger. Trigger pull has smoothed out a little and although a little heavy it breaks clean/crisp. Put around 400 rounds thru it s far.
  21. My an card is safe, I do as I like. I am old, grumpy and mean as can be!
  22. I like them mostly. Just good fun and entertainment!
  23. These something about fly fishing that sets it apart from other types of fishing. Good luck and have fun!
  24. Don't bet on it. Politicians are not our friends!
  25. Picked up a Stoeger STR-9. Got it from local Rural King for $338.42. Came in cardboard box with info, 3 back straps and 3 15 round mags. Made in Turkey. Very Glock like inside and shoots as good as a Glock 19 for me. I would compare to Glock gen3/4 G19 model. Standard 3 dot sights but are metal. Parts do not seem to be interchangeable with Glocks but it does fit Glock 19 holsters. Put 500 rounds thru it so far with 2 failures to completely eject fired casings, strong RSA and 3 times slide locked back with rounds still in mag, found out I was riding up on slide lock. Sight are POA/POI for me and groups at least as well as any Glock 9mm I have owned.
