  1. Charter Cable is digital now and you have to get a DAC box from them to connect between your incoming cable and tv. Problem is my tv has one HDMI input and the digital box takes this one. So the question is how do I connect a DVD player that has HDMI, USB and component outputs to a tv with one HDMI and one USB and one set of component inputs? What is a component output/input? Will a USB cable work? What is the best way to connect everything up?   Thanks for any answers!
  2. Life is too short to get upset over non-life threatening events! Just my thoughts.
  3. Yep, reloading is a relaxing hobby for me and gets me ammo to shoot!
  4. This evening picked up 4 more pounds of the surplus pistol powder from Mr. David. Great fellow to deal with. I have been using it for 9mm and it is good for this but I really like it in 45 ACP. Been reloading Hornady 230gr XTP, Magnus 230gr JHP and Magnus 215gr LSWC with it for a new Glock gen4 21. I have put quite a few of these rounds down range and this powder, in my opinion, works extremely well in the 45 ACP. I went ahead and purchased Lee dies and powder measure disc system and mount so I can reload 9mm or 45 by just changing out the turret. I also having a good time with the LCT press, good equipment.
  5. Congrats and good luck to you!
  6. # 71/2 or #8 for Dove.
  7. It has fed everything just fine, LSWCs,Jacketed and Plated. Not one problem. I like this gun, it is big and runs like a champ.
  8. Prepare for the bad and hope for the best!
  9. If you decide to chase the threads use plenty of tap oil as SS is very hard to tap otherwise.

    It's Hot

At work yesterday, had to do some stuff over our furnace, about 140 degrees where I was working. Stay wet with sweat all night long. Burns you out quick.

  12. Had one break once on an M16-A1 after a auto fire course. Only one I have ever seen break but have seen some worn down.
  13. I am bacon powered also!
  14. Carried mine IWB for many years (Glock) and have had no problems. The only thing I could see is a holster that is too soft or does not fit properly may be unsafe.

    Glock 19

The 26 is too small for me and the 19 is borderline. I would pick the 19 every time.
  18. I have one and have used it to deprime and size. Neat little press. I do not know how it will work for the .22 Hornet.

  20. Already have 4! But can never tell.
  21. Only used Lee dies and been very happy with them. I have only reloaded straight wall pistol cases so my experience is limited to those dies.
  22. Picked up 8-11-14 from Tennessee Gun Country. Picked up some Federal white box ammo, 230gr ball. Shot it right after purchase, liked it, got dies, brass, primers and some Hornady 230gr XTPs and Magnus 215gr LSWCs. Been reloading and shooting some more Federal white box to get more brass for reloading.  The Magnus bullets make me really happy, they make such neat "big" round holes in the target. I have found another caliber to reload, I am having so much fun with this Glock! Tennessee Gun Country gives LEO, Military/retired a good deal plus the Glock discount. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!
  23. Before changing powders try some of what you have on hand. Drop down 10% and work back up to where the combo works for you. I have run some X-Treme plated HPs 9mms pretty hard with no problem using HS-6.
  24. I was there from 1981 to 1983 (Ft. Dix), I would never go back!
  25. Let him keep his guns and pull his medical license.
