Picked up this afternoon, put 282 rounds of 230gr ball and JHP thru it with one fail to feed at about the 200 round mark, fifth round in a 8 round mag. Shot very well with the ammo which were my reloads. Basic 1911-A1 style pistol, comes with just one mag and box. They had it for $810, traded in a Taurus PT 1911 on it. I spend way to much time at Tennessee Gun Country, but love their range. SORRY I DO NOT DO PICTURES!

.500 S&W is a big round and one shot may have done it.

Not well known and lack of after market parts same as the Sar and Witness pistols. For just a range gun may be nice. Just try to find magazines, holsters or sights for it before purchase just to see where you'll be if you want them.

I had a lot of spankings when much younger but none I did not deserve. I do not believe it hurt me and think it made me think more before attempting dumb stuff. -
Depends on many things but 5.56/223 and 7.62X39 are good. Any may work depending on the requirements.

Just a thread for things that make you go ugh when you see them on firearms. Rails on 1911s. Blinged out Glocks, S&W, XDs and so on. $400 pistol with $200 of after market parts. People wanting 1911 triggers on non-1911 pistols. I understand not everyone dislike these things.

Nice pistol there! Not a big 1911 guy but rails on 1911s just turn me off. Have fun and be safe.

I lived there so long ago that Antioch Pike was the main road in the area. Almost country in appearance. Small family owned stores and not too many folks. Pity how it has turned out.
