  1. Oh man thats a new one. I think us dealers ought to all sit down and exchange strange customer stories .
  2. Welcome to the board! Ahh Celina, TN... I know a guy that owns a cabin there. Beautiful area I hear.
  3. I havent shaved in... about two weeks. My wife hates a hairy face, but meh, I wanna see how far it will go. Only problem is, I have demples, and no hair grows here . So I have these nice little circles on my cheeks that are bare... damn genetics! (if demples come from genes....)

    Lefty ARs

Glad you finally got your Stag Joe, even if it wasnt exactly the model you wanted . I've been thus far impressed with their quality though, even if its once in a blue moon I actually get the ones I want to stock. We'll see how long it takes em to actually deliver the one we order for you.
  5. We were not going to ship anything to California either, but then we also learned that any firearm being shipped even to a manufacturer has to be approved - such as Weatherby. We are direct with Weatherby and do have to send something back to them every now and agian, but now we have to get even those approved .
  6. I have a SERPA for my XD/G19/P228/1911 and on none of them does the button come anywhere close to the trigger. I think people are quick to blame a product that seemingly caused an AD instead of their own stupidity. Then agian, Blackhawk could have redesigned the holsters before I got them and its just not an issue anymore. I'm also a Blackhawk fanboy, so could just be the koolaid talking. Also, the thing about BH that pisses me off though, is the fact that they will not make a Serpa for a Sig P239, and yet they will for a freakin Taurus Judge.
  7. I know I have.
  8. Its probably already been said, but EoTech + 3x/4x magnification owns. I personally went with the 3x, I couldnt see spending an extra $200ish just for an extra power. I dunno how the non-flip to side version is, but my FTS is so awsome it makes me want to drop kick my dog.
  9. It could be arranged.......
  10. Best burger in TN? Thats easy.... mine!
  11. My parents also had this before comcast offered cable down their road (they had to start a petition to get them to do it). It wasn't necessarily bad, it would be ok if you just use it casually to check email/news/blog or whatever, but they have a fair access policy and depending on what package you purchase you will only be allowed a certain amount of data in a 24/hr period. I think they're policy was like 2gigs - which if you download alot of music/games/videos it can be eaten up pretty quick. Once you go over the limit they cut you down to dial-up speed and it pretty much sucks. Also, if you were thinking about gaming at all (Gogo CoD4!), it is absolutely terrible. The latency it takes from your signal to go to a server and back is about 2-3 seconds, therefore any FPS or MMORPG is pretty much out the window.
  12. Ahh see I didnt know that, I thought it was required.
  13. Oh man, I hate that too. No number, no contact information, nothing. Also, the business's that dont send FFL's with the transfer like they are suppost to....
  14. That's a pretty good deal, Phillip will treat you pretty well too. Unfortunately I dont have the power yet to sway Dennis from the $25 . But one day! Oh, one day!
  15. I personally like Golden Saber, Extreme Shock, and Corbon Pow'rball in my kel-tec. Think I've got ES loaded in it atm.
  16. We are $25 + $10, always have been, prolly always will be. I dont see it changing anytime soon. It isnt difficult to got transfers in, and doesnt require much work. The people that have transfers that they leave up here for a month before they pick them up are the ones that get on my nerves. We're having a hard time finding places for our guns, much less other peoples.

    HK's P7?

The P7 M13 is an excellent gun, and is getting pretty pricey. We sold a chrome one that was threaded and had 6 mags for $2400 to a guy in FL not long ago. The P7 M8's are the ones that are getting imported right now though, and while they do shoot well, the way the gun taps gas off into the grip heats it up considerably after about 30rds. If you buy one, wear a glove!
  18. I'm not sure if Springfield is doing free refinishing jobs for the older guns anymore. Last we had to send one back for that, which was last year, they said that they were going to stop doing it soon. Awsome if they havent though, I like the new finish.
  19. I have permission from Tungsten to give this away, as I'm not an authorized dealer (yet). So, first one who wants it (thats an active TGO member, lurkers need not apply), gets it. I'd add a pic but I'm at home and its at work. Basicly we got a pink rubber grip in from Taurus for whatever reason, wasnt invoiced for it, and havent had any customers that wanted it - so I turn to you TGO, get this thing off my desk .
  20. My opinion is that it isnt necessarily a bad thing, but that you should definately learn to use your sights before you install a laser. Actually using it would tend to be more situational than anything. There are pro's and con's to most everything - lasers can give away your position, but once your position is already given away, they can be used as a deterent (SP?) and be an aid in an already tense situation. Everyone watches TV, and everyone knows what a little red painted dot on you means and is a psychological weapon. That said, I only own one laser - a lasermax in my 228 Sig. To be honest I rarely - if ever use it, and wouldnt buy another lasermax based on the fact that I cant adjust it to a set distance myself (have to send it back to the factory for adjustment) and the switch is a little strange for me. CT grips seems to be a better way to go. Just my 2c ...... now infrared lasers with night vision.... mmm.....
  21. Hmm.. one step closer to a Half-Life 2 type situation... I'm going to start calling Metro PD "The Combine".
  22. Guinness, of course. You mean to say there are other beverages worth drinking?
  23. That is awsome!
  24. Barrel is a 1 in 8 twist - shoots great. The FAL is a Springfield - its on loan to me from a Army buddy of mine while he gets shipped off to Ft. Rucker until he gets back in a year.
