  1. Ben, you never cease to impress me .
  2. Finally! The organization I was born to work for!
  3. I dunno, I like their dollar menu pretty well - the spicy chicken sandwhich they have on there is pretty darn good. Chicken fries are good too.
  4. Looks like I'll be going to Hardees more for a burger. They're better anyway, and McD's doesnt even have curly fries!
  5. Yes but, does it take a bullet and keep working like a Surefire? Also be careful of "lumen" ratings. Every company has a different scale they measure lumens as. One company's 250 lumens is another companys 30. In my experience - and I buy alot of flashlights, call me a light geek - that you really get what you pay for, as with most things. Honestly, save the $20 bucks and save up another $20 and buy a 6P, or even less cash and get a G2, or even the cheaper Streamlight handhelds. Not that anyone cares either, but best flashlight on the market for the money is a Surefire Backup, imo. Very small light, clips right in a pocket, and only uses one 123 battery. It has two modes, one low setting, and one high setting. High setting is a very bright 80 lumens (like I said, everyones lumens are different, but this light is freakin bright) with a hour and half run time, or a 5 lumen (agian, brighter than some cheaper lights) low setting that will run for 37 hours. I carry one everyday and in the 4 months I've had it, I havent had to change the one battery yet. MSRP on the light is $149 bucks, and the backup includes the strike bezel. You can prolly find it online and in reputable shops (such as G&L and Hero Gear) for less. I know that sounds like alot of cash for a light. Yeah I know I sound like a infomercial for Surefire, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. If the Backup is more than you're willing to pay for a light, the G2 and 6P are half the money, and superb lights too.
  6. I have a 20ish year old P228 that has some surface rust I need to take care of speaking of which. Course it doesnt have much in the way of finish left on it either. Still shoots like a champ though!
  7. I got an email about this today. I watched the video and was thinkin... man.. that place looks famil... HEY THATS OUR RANGE! Then Paul had his 5 second blurb in front of the camera. Man, I live under a rock.
  8. OK. She wore shorts, big deal. Sad thing is the fact that people are making such a big fuss over it. "Next on Fox, we have 3 shorts experts to discuss the effects of shorts on a society!"
  9. Michael Delgiorno is pretty good, and I like Hannity pretty well. Although when I leave work and turn on the radio it's always his infomercial for the Heritage foundation, course I leave work at the same time every day haha.
  10. If it had been my daughter, son, friend, or next door neighbor - God himself would cover his eyes at what I would do to them after hunting them down like the animals they are. Death would not be quick, and would be too good for them anyway.

  12. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate what this guy does and what he stands for, but my God. I tried listening to him agian this morning, and he literally just repeats himself over, and over, and over agian. Sometimes word-for-word. It's not like he's taking a call and answering the same question with the same response, either. It'd similiar to if I was speaking to a crowd of people, and said "Thank you for coming, we got alot to talk about today! We have Mosin Nagants coming in, glocks galore, we also have Dennis that will be here to talk about how he bid on some more police guns, and alot of other stuff!" and said that same thing, sometimes back to back, at LEAST 4 or 5 times in between breaks. It drives me freakin nuts.
  13. Ben, you'll realize eventually that Justme just likes to argue and break down everyone's posts sentence by sentence to comment on them. With a post as large as yours, I fear how big justme's is going to be when he dissect's it . Here's hoping he doesnt though!
  14. Awsome vid! People have way too much time on their hands lol.
  15. Yessir. Yessir. Doesnt look like it this time, so best eat before you come - or there is a sonic across the street.
  16. In general, most manufacturers do a 1-5% increase in price every year. S&W just went up another point last week. Hell, I remember 2-3 years ago selling good 9mm for what I have to sell CCI 22LR for nowadays. All I have to say about this is: 1. We, for one, are charging the same dollar amount of markup on our items that we have for... forever. 2. A HUGE reason why you saw apparently every gun shop trying to screw you over with their prices was because the wholesalers were screwing us. I don't really know how much you know about how the majority of business's get their products, but I'll tell you: it's through distribution. And when wholesale distributors decide to raise their prices to cash in the craze, we in turn have to raise ours since we are paying more for the supply and still need to keep the light bill paid. Majority of the distributors raised their prices in some form of fashion, and then there are other distributors <cough> Lew Horton <cough> that wanted to charge us $1500 for a plain M4 Bushmaster. It would be all well and good to say, "Well, then you just shouldnt have bought from them then!" but unfortunately it doesnt work like that. Sure, we and just about everyone else could have, but without products to sell, we make no money. When we make no money, we have to shut down. Best thing we can do is grin and bear it while remembering those that really tried to stick it to us when times are better. Thus why Lew Horton will never see another dime of G&L money - and it's a shame, I'd love to order people those custom shop S&W's they have from time to time, but I wont even do that now. But I digress.... either way, if you dont like my price on something, feel free to shoot me an offer on it. If it's something insulting, I'll more than likely laugh at you and show you exactly what I have in it, and tell you to have a nice day.
  17. Breakfree myself.
  18. The Nemesis pocket holster are pretty nice, actually. I have a couple of em for various guns of mine, cant complain so far.
  19. This happens alot actually. There are plenty of non-FFL dealers that troll gunbroker and their reasonable, volume local dealers (myself and Joe included, I'm sure) that snap up firearms with the intent to resale at a profit. However, what the vast majority of those guys don't understand, is ATF watches those things. I can think of 3 customers of mine off the top of my head that had ATF show up at their door and accuse them of "running guns". Granted, all of those customers that had that experience trade guns with us every other week or so. I would imagine the non-FFL dealer as I like to call them would have a similiar situation as far as 4473's go. Other than that, I think Joe hit the nail on the head, as usual. I absolutely do not mind and rather enjoy giving people a good deal on stuff, as that means they more than likely will come back and be a repeat customer and I just got rid of some inventory. However, it's those that DEMAND that I give them a discount that I will give the shaft to. This has included some members of this board, unfortunately.
  20. Unless you shop at Guns & Leather. If you purchase a firearm from us, and something is wrong with it - we'll take care of it, period. Whether that be simply replacing the gun with another one, having our gunsmith fix it, sending the gun back to the factory at our expense, or returning the gun altogether for something different.
  21. Had a beer or two too many, disregard lol.
  22. Dinner will be here in about 5 mins, so think I'm done for the night - however, will be on periodically tomorrow if anyone is free. Lemon is pretty good =).
