  1. If that was the offer I'd have been pissed. For the record though, if anyone has an issue with something that happens with one of our sales guys - or he's saying something that isnt right - I or Dennis need to know. Can't make it better if we're in the dark about it .
  2. Savage, if I have employees telling people things like that I need to know who they are. That is very unacceptable. Even if you do not know their name, what do they look like? PM it to me if you dont want to say anything publicly, but if this is happening I need to know who it is, now.
  3. Who did this to you and why? I need to know who it was so I can set them straight.
  4. Just to clarify, our policy is: New guns - if you bought it here, it doesnt work, we will a.) Cover freight back to the factory and get it fixed, b.) Have our gunsmith fix it if he can, or c.) replace the gun entirely - it's up to the customer. Used guns - if you bought it here, it doesnt work, we will a.) have the gunsmith fix it, if possible, b.) send the firearm back to the company if it's still under warranty, or c.) refund the money on the gun towards something else - it's up to the customer.
  5. I think that was directed at me .
  6. Yeah, I usually build one for myself every year or two as funds allow. I got to poking around newegg yesterday and didnt even know i7's were out. Guess quad cores are the new thing haha.
  7. Wow, nice rig Daniel! How do you like Windows 7? I've heard good things about it, but been halfway scared to change from XP Pro.
  8. Currently running: Intel Core2 Duo 3.0 ghz GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L 4 gigs of RAM NVidia 9800GTX OCZ 700W PSU all stuffed inside Newegg.com - NZXT ZERO 2 Crafted Series CS-NT-ZERO-2 Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases that case.
  9. I like Metal & Thrash music, thus...
  10. In no particular order: Unreal Tournament (PC) Heroes of Might & Magic V + expansions (PC) Warcraft 2 (PC) Starcraft (PC) Farcry (PC) Farcry2 (PC) Gears of War (360) Gears of War 2 (360) Resident Evil 5 (PS3/360) Street Fighter 4 (PS3) Diablo 2 + expansion (PC) And more probably...
  11. My coppers: For the .22LR can, I'd go with a TAC65 .22LR SUPPRESSOR Excellent Suppression, Easy To Clean by:. Probably the least expensive can I've seen in .22LR, but with the ability to pull the baffles out and clean it yourself easily. Side by side with a Gemtech 22LR can, you can't tell the difference in sound - it's a very nice suppressor. For 5.56 you've got a decision to make. Do you want less expensive but big & heavy, or more expensive and small & lightweight? Yankee Hill, Tactical Inc, Gemtech, and a dozen other companies all make less expensive 5.56 cans, but the size & weight are more. AWC, Surefire, Wilson Combat, and a few others make higher-end suppressors (IE: around $1k) that are small, light, and give as much decible reduction as the others if not more. I personally have a Surefire - FA556-212 Suppressor for .223 Caliber - available from SureFire, and it's about 10-16 oz lighter than the tactical inc and gemtech. Which, for a small guy like me is pretty big .
  12. Fortunately for SKS's the bastardization of 30rd mags are not how they were intended to be. Go go factory 10 rd fixed mag + stripper clips!
  13. I do all the Gunbroker sells for G&L, and I dont know about what other places do, but this is how I do it: I take what we have in an item, put it on for the least we'd take for it as the minimum bid, (less if it's an item we're wanting to clear out), and then put a buy it now price on it equal to our normal sticker price.
  14. Damn it all! I always forget to post the poll! David halp1!
  15. Will be last Sunday of the month - Sept. 27th, 5pm-9pm or so. Poll is up just so I have a rough headcount of who is coming!
  16. In a nutshell: Most bullpup rifles, anything made by Ruger (cept the LCR, quite a nice little gun, actually), any handgun made by Kimber, and.... ..... <flameshield up!> AK's. I just... can't make myself like them. I guess I'm just a AR guy.
  17. It's nigh impossible to buy a pre-built PC nowadays with XP, most manufacturers switched over to ****ty Vista long ago - if you can hold out a little while Windows 7 will be out soon. Win7 is actually very good and is what Vista should have been in the first place, it's a true successor to XP. Think of Vista as the modern day Windows ME, and stay away from it like the plague. Optionally, you could build your own and install XP on it. It's not difficult, as long as you either follow the directions or have a decent technical knowledge, you'll more than likely breeze through it.
  18. Will be the last Sunday of the month - will post about it in Events & Gatherings this evening.
  19. Come to the next G&L meet & shoot, or come see me before then. Even if I don't have firearm you want to shoot as a dedicated rental, if I have a used-traded-in one I'd be more than happy to let you test drive it.
  20. Welcome!
  21. My very own? 13, H&R single shot 20ga I still have to this day. This does not count the plathora of "family" firearms we had growing up.
  22. I've always thought the same things lol.
  23. This proves a critical point: If you support Obamacare, you might be a zombie.
  24. No idea, but I've always wanted to post that... .
