We closed early on Saturday as well, think we had less than 20 customers by 2pm since being open at 9am.

Roads are still icy. I don't want to risk anyone trying to come out and have an accident, so postponing it till next Sunday.

The roads around here are still pretty bad - am going to postpone this till next week just to be safe.

By tomorrow evening I'm assuming that Highway 41 will be clear - they had snow plows on it and the ridge today. Same for I65, so as of right now it's still on. If it's still bad tomorrow I'll postpone it.

Fourish inches in Greenbrier at the moment - which is strange. Usually all the snow doesnt fall up here on the ridge. It is snowing & sleeting at the moment, and my dogs wont even go to the door to let us know they have to go pee haha. Half our staff have called out of work tomorrow. Saturday is gonna be a fun day .

But.. but... Al said that the earth was warming! Anyway, I dont own a snow shovel, but up on the ridge we get much less snow than anyone else. Just gotta worry bout the ice.

OK. To answer your question: We require a background check because no, we dont trust people we dont know. Having a HCP is not a requirement at G&L, and even if it was you were checked when you applied for the permit, but alot can happen after that. You would think that'd be common sense.

Yeah EAA's CS is as bad as HK. We carried them way back when, and they sold well, but after we sent back a gun for repair and EAA refused to honor their warranty. Told us that they didnt need our business, and by then the feeling was mutual. They kept the guys gun, we replaced it to the owner with something else that worked, and have never bought another gun from them. It's funny though, last year the president of EAA called Dennis to apologize for what happened and asked us to carry their guns agian. Dennis told em that we didnt need their business, and hung up.

Any time I've been to the Carabbas in Hendersonville it's been enjoyable. Not too loud, and the foods great. I believe they have one in Nashville.

That's what I'm afraid of. They have too much at stake here, even if the majority of votes are in Browns favor, I'm scared they will steal it anyway by any means necessary. This could be Iran elections v. 2.0.

I have had a mini30, and I have had a Norinco (Chinese) SKS and AK. Both the Chinese guns outshot the mini. Due to the mags being expensive in the mini, and that Ruger doesnt seem to like making new mini30's, I'd have to at least recommend the SKS for cost reasons. Seriously, I've seen like one new mini30 out of Ruger in the last two or three years. Not to say there prolly isnt a bunch of used ones to be had, but I personally like a new gun and knowing no ones shot the zombie Jesus out of it or tried to tinker with it.

We generally get UPS in before we open. However, depending on how much stuff we get in it could take her a bit to get it logged in and put out.

I'm at home today, but supposedly we're getting in a GEN4 G22 according to Dennis today. Dunno what the price is.
